Really? Who the he'll wants to be a 6th man? Every college player wants to goto the league... or the association and be the best.... the greatest of all time (the GOAT). If you hear anything else it's a lie. Sure most don't have the skills to be the greatest but that doesn't mean they don't want to be. -

I'm sure Corliss Williamson wanted to be the greatest, but I also think he ended up taking pride in serving his team the best way he could, even if that meant being a crucial sixth man on a championship winning ballclub. I think that's what that poster meant.
I'm personally more intrigued with this storyline than any other because of Spike Lee's presence. I imagine it could end up being a cool way of handling a MyPlayer mode direction I haven't been a fan of in recent years. Otherwise, I'd typically still prefer the initial MyPlayer route (where working through the D-League was a real possibility) with increased versatility.Comment

I think he means he wants the opportunity to simulate what it might be like to grind to get by in the NBA, fighting for a roster position and maybe being rewarded with something less than automatic greatness. There's a compelling charm for some to not having a Hall of Fame cookie cutter storyline inevitably waiting for you no matter what.

It's hard to make an NBA roster it's also hard to stay there nothing is easy in the NBA I want it to feel like the real NBA where my job isn't safe I could be on the roster one day or get waived or traded the next day.
I'd like to contribute to a team in any way possible as the 6th man, that role player on the bench thats a specialist in certain areas, as long as it helps the team.
I want to EARN my spot in the NBALast edited by zello144; 09-14-2015, 08:23 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Trailer - Livin' Da Dream, A Spike Lee Joint
Trailer looks good, but I wouldn't want/like they forced people to be the "franchise player" in the NBA, like previous years. I can understand if it happens in HS or even College, but happening in the NBA would be too much.
The "Freq" thing will probably be a bit annoying, I would be better if they gave you the chance to choose a nickname from a list, like when you created MyPlayer last year. At least I hope there's a good excuse for the "Freq" thing...Comment

I'm shocked no one has complained about it being "Livin' Da Dream" instead of the so much tougher to spell out say "Living The Dream" version as well in this thread.Comment

There is, your character actually has a name that other characters can call you by lol. Everyone is forgetting they can't sit there and record every name in the database for each scene that requires a name to be said when they can just have a nickname (used for cutscenes most likely) that they call you by allowing the actors to do their jobs.Comment

Clown stuff still going on ...we can't even change jerseys freely...you have to unlock it...which means I'm sure once again dumb stuff like not being able to afford headbands and rubber bands..."and that's so LAAAAAME!!"Comment

Bashing the developers is a good way to get banned on here. I'd edit your post if you want to stick around. I'm not a mod, just trying to be helpful and to save you so to speak. :wink:Comment

You do know the "presentation group" have absolutely zilch to do with what you're complaining about right?Comment

well it's not gameplay, it's not A.I. , it's not coding , it's not QA, it's not being created by a producer, there are no commercial or ads involved....so who does it?! Design team I guess?? But that sounds like under presentationComment
