This is one of the best times of the year. Last year I was so thirsty for the game that I went on the hunt to get the game early. Here are my suggestions for anybody that can't wait.
Get the man in charge involved!
Many of the major retailers have it in their POS systems to display a message when someone rings up the game before the release date. However, this can be overided. The manager should have acids they can enter. You just have to give them a good enough reason. Whether you are being belligerent or make them feel sorry for you.
Find the shady employee!
We all know they are out there and can sometimes be easy to spot. Let them know you don't need a receipt and just need them to give you the game and you will have their money plus a tip. Remind them they can always ring the game up later so the inventory is correct.
Both methods worked last year. However I somewhat felt bad because someone could have lost their job over it. Getting the game mad early was awesome though! Luckily I have so many projects going at work this year, I am not as tempted to give in to the thirst. Good Luck!!!!!
