Camera relative. I don't know how you guys play on broadcast/absolute when on the far side of the court since everything is backwards. It's a total mind-**** for me.

I've never had any problem doing either of these, but I'm also used to it. I would definitely tell any newcomers to the series to learn absolute because it will be much easier to learn and understand. But for some of us, the relative controls are just too ingrained to change now. I honestly tried to go to absolute back on 2K13 for a week and just couldn't do it.

This is why giving players options is so great. I'm glad 2K is flexible and lets people play how they prefer.

Yeah. Took me a few weeks to get used to playing on absolute.

I was hoping that they would address the euro steps with the diagonal away from the rim. The move is a little tough to pull off in a straight line to the basket.

its sooo friggin weird. For NHL I play true broadcast and have the controller "Always up" and that's how I play, but for 2K when playing broadcast I can't do the same it has to be camera relative.

              Broadcast/camera relative.

I had issues shooting bank shots in 2K15 as well.

I mostly use square to shoot jumpers and the shot stick for layups, dunks, post moves, etc.

Re: Camera Relative or Camera Absolute?

I play on 2K casually and from time to time I play on broadcast-like cameras for games to check out sliders and presentation.

I always use camera relative.. Always

2k cam - relative. I can't remember ever having had any problems doing moves or types of shots/layups like some are saying. Then again, i don't really dribble and iso a lot so i might have forgotten. I prefer to keep things simple with a passing game and letting the ball do the work.

absolute! unfortunately this setting was not saved/loaded/used in team Up mode, so I got confused regularly by it defaulting/using camera relative even though every other mode recognized my absolute setting. hope this was fixed this year!

For some reason my brain is stuck thinking in terms of where the basket is so I always use relative. Luckily in 2k cam relative is pretty reliable for me. When I try to switch to broadcast + relative to play my friends I'm all

Re: Camera Relative or Camera Absolute?

The thing about absolute that I just can't comprehend is that the right stick would be absolute and the left would be camera relative...... seems so unnatural and hard to get used to.....

I suppose this is where labbing is important.....
