    Re: Online Delay

This is a big issue that 2k is carrying since forever now... It makes defending other people online nearly impossible. THats why the Crossover Cheese was so big, because you couldn't catch up to that persons moves. I hope they fixed this, or Pro Am is not going to last for to long..

      Re: Online Delay

Or what about the dreaded "waiting for opponent - error" that lead to an automatic loss last year in H2H ranked matches. Drove me nuts !!! Out of 70 losses (50+ were from this). It was extremely annoying and it started late 2k14 (april/may'ish) and was never fixed.

I hope this is gone. I just want stable connections all game long, win or lose.

It was improved, but fixed? Nah, I have numbers to show you that it was not fixed.

              Re: Online Delay

Lol noooooo way it was "fixed".

I play madden online with no lag almost every single game. Fgs, and other things are practically identical offline and online.

2k had input lag off and online, but as someone that okayed nba live and 2k, 2k was much laggier.

Think 2k is making great strides though so I pre ordered, and I'm hoping for the best as far as lag

Huh I haven't had any noticeable input lag on NBA 2k15 offline like some people are saying. Online is a different story but offline was fine for me.

It got a little better offline after the patch. But on defense you slide around out of control, and basic stuff is just a little bit laggy imo.

But playing defense felt dreadful and out of control.

The solution is just to buy the PC version which was flawless for 2k15. I'll be waiting to hear feedback on the console version once the game is released, if it's not improved then I'm going with the PC. I don't expect things to get any better on console, being that it's been atrocious since 2k9.

Unfortunately, I think we're at the point where console specs are lagging too far behind and can't meet the demands of game developers. Both the PS4 and Xbox are already outdated platforms in terms of hardware.

Consider that only around 10% of pc users have good enough hardware to outdue the consoles.

I have a $500 computer, used, 8 gb of ram, an ssd, and a $250 video card and even then the graphics of my games are pretty good, I can play most high graphics games on pretty high settings, and the performance, didn't match my xbox one. Close, but not there.

Not to mention the fact that most people's friends play on xbox/ps4.

Of course the mods are amazing. But the solution for most people isn't play on pc. Most people don't have extremely high level video cards. Even if they do they may lack processing power, or ram, etc.

If everyone was somehow on the pc bandwagon and bought good enough rigs I could get on that bandwagon because of mods... But most people don't have it and don't want it, and people just want to turn something on and play

I get it. I want the game on console as well, but if it's unplayable again, what's the point? For those with strong enough PC's going the PC route is definitely a better alternative. Yes, the community isn't as large, yes mostly everyone has more friends on console, but that's all moot if you can't enjoy the game with them because of lag and server issues. Better to be able to play than not play at all.

FWIW when you look at the amount of people playing high end games I think 10% is a fairly random and inaccurate number. Beating console specs isn't too difficult even on a budget when building your own computer.

So does it finally feel like offline with no delay? Do you have full control of the player and do it react exactly when you flip your stick?
