It's just my opinion. I think they can produce a better NBA game if time wasn't devoted to MyPlayer stuff.

Ive always felt this way as well, so your not alone. Not that I begrudge others from modes they enjoy, but I do wish offline Association or now its called My League was more important on getting right, although last year was solid other than shot blocking being to low.


Id probably enjoy online MY league with the right guys, but what little a few years back I tried online ruined it for me. Plus it seems every legue has all kind of rules and you need to chat and be in those chat rooms if that's what they are called to be in aleague. Im old and have little PC knowledge so chatting online and all the stuff I don't know how to do nor don't care to learn really as Im old and not in all that good of health, so comprehending new things isn't 1 of my better traits at this stage,lol.

MJ edition, I love the perks for it and the cover is great, also had the cash for it and the VC will be a bit of fun to mess around with on MyTeam for a bit. But most of all, I wanted the Jordan posters.

Standard because Curry is my favorite player and I'm a GSW fan and Bay Area native. I had to experience the trauma that was Chris Webber ditching the team in 94.

Curry on the cover represented in exacting detail after an MVP championship season is the greatest sports video game event that could ever happen for me. Even more than anything involving his Airness. This is redemption.

So split the game and maybe loss sales so there is less money to put into the Core game and what happens if more people buy the myplayer game and then they put more money in it? Im pretty sure somebody would complain they not doing the core game justice....

if there was no my player/my career in 2k. they would have a better ultimate team mode, a better my GM/my team mode, and a better franchise/association mode on and offline.

Those things are true. since they would dedicate more time to those modes. but what would not happen is actual game play getting any better. being forced to play with one player with cpu teammates and cpu defenders all around. makes for a nice testing ground to test out a players stats vs how they actually play being controlled by a user. and how the cpu teammates would react to them, as well as cpu defenders. i've seen a lot of little things that i have never seen before without my player. good and bad. because you didnt have time to digest what you've just seen since you were concerned with moving the ball around to another open teammate which you control in a normal non my player mode.

MJ ed. reason? i did the math. the cost to by the standard then eventually purchase that same amt of VC is either the exact same or more doing it a la carte with the standard edition. if i didnt spend $$ on VC last year and i wasnt the type of person that would spend $$ on VC this year. no way in hell i would pay that kind of money just to look at jordan on a cover. lol at people using that reason. i guess its a chicago thing i would never understand. lakerfan over here. and after kobe retires. they can put kobe's face all on the cover of 2k or any other basketball game. i still aint paying extra to see that dudes face. lol. you better give me a perk.

Standard I never preorder games
The extra bonuses don't really interest me at all really I like getting what everyone else is getting and starting off on an even playing field.
Also sports games lose a lot of value overtime so spending $20 extra on it no thanks...

No kidding on losing value. Just trade in my NBA2k15 to preorder 16 a few days ago and got 5$ at gamestop. I think last year I got around 14 or 15$ on trade at about the same time. Im sure if I was more PC savy I could have sold NBA2k15 for more online somewhere but Im not. My wife said I should just kept it, but figured no need to have the clutter around when I cant imagine ever playing it again once 16 is out unless 16 is trash and I definitely don't see that happening going by NBA2k's track record the past couple years.
