Re: NBA2K16 Upload Images And Server Website

Hey everyone. I messed around with this for quite a while last night.

Arena Logo is the logo for the arena name (you can see I used KC's Sprint Center logo here).

The only thing I'm not having any luck with is the scorer's table ads. They all come in blurry, no matter what file format (jpg or png) or resolution I import them at. Looking at the community uploads, it looks like others are having the same issue.

      That's awesome thanks!

Yea the dang scoreboard table images are blurry when I upload to 2K. I might see if it matters that much and plug it in. I'll probably be disappointed and just have to go without it.

I had only successully uploaded a Team USA logo only one of 3 because of the dimensions thing. I put it on a jersey and had chris paul in a brand spanking new team usa design home jersey.

Ill see if i still have a pic. Most image editors online only let you do w and h so

Find a picture bigger than what you're going to scale it down to and use that

So if you find a pic thats 1220 x1074, scale it down 1:1 by making it equal on both sides, say 800x800

That way it wont be blurry and the site will accept it.

Hopefully they can fix that... having local ads and stuff would be pretty slick.

Re: NBA2K16 Upload Images And Server Website

              Hi folks,

The website is still getting some tweaks and optimizations. The recommended file dimensions for each of the types is as follows:

Team Logo [1:1] - 1024x1024 (used at center court and/or in the secondary logo location)

Arena Logo [2:1] - 512x256 (the name of the arena, located where the 'Staples Center' logo goes)

              Scorer's Table [4:1] - 512x128 (in front of the scorer's tables)

If you are scaling your files to these dimensions and still seeing oversized errors, please let me know. I'll work on getting this information included on the website.

Thanks a million, SimBaller. I'm going to try out the Scorer's Table image at that resolution to see if it comes out more clearly.

                      Simballer,

Do you know why some of us might not be seeing our uploaded logos? I can see them on the 2k site fine. When I try to download them in the game (PC), nothing shows up. It's only gray boxes. I can see other community content fine. But I'd really like to access my own stuff.

Still no luck on the scorer's table image coming out clear, even at 512x128.

As you can see by the last image, it seems like this is a universal problem. Sim, might want to have the guys check to see if there is some kind of scaling weirdness going on there.

Thanks man, please give a high-five to everyone responsible for this feature because it is bonkers. So, so awesome, especially for people like me who have never had an NBA team in their own city to support.
