Started a gm with the knicks for a challenge. I'm trying to hit all the owner goals so I can eventually move them out of state. It's hard though because one of the goals is keep chemistry up but doing trades kills chemistry. I dumped Robin Lopez because his contract is huge and got cannan as a starting pg. My team pretty much sucks balls but I am 5-0 so far on all star. Each game decided by about 4 points. Last year's mygm I became elite through one off season. I'm going to go slower with a rebuild. I made a promise to keep Melo on the team even though I really don't want to. He's lucky one of my owner goals is not to lie to players. If you want a challenge play as the knicks. They suck but Melo and porzingus make for some fun offense.

CPU agrees to trade Andre Drummond and Steve Blake for Kevin Martin and Tayshaun Prince. Oh man. Seriously, this need to be patched asasp.

It's easy to get around those bad trades. Just don't do them. I ignore idiotic trades like that. Drummond is passed around like currency in mygm mode. Makes no damn sense. To be fair though, he has the offense of a corpse in this game.

Didn't say anything about you making it up, only that I couldn't find it in a search (obviously, since it doesn't seem to be in one of his posts, at least not since the game released). There's no way I could have known to look in someone else's post that was referencing him, unless I searched for "Czar" in general which would have given too many hits to look through.

That's a valid reason for waiting, especially since the game isn't completely released yet (people still can't buy it at retail without a preorder until Tues).

I'm hopeful the update drops when the game releases tomorrow (is the game having a midnight release? I doubt it). I have to be up early for work tomorrow anyway, so I hope the patch will download and I can see if things are improved. I'm not far in my MyLeague (like, two weeks), so I can reengineer and redesign the uniforms again without much issue.

any clue when this patch will drop? and do we know for sure we would have to restart our myleagues? i dont know if i should just stop playing mine or not

I was able to change the colors of the Magic's current logo the other day in MyLeague.

But I don't know if that was a glitch that I just got lucky with, because I can't seem to make it work again. I'm not able to do that for any other current logos. Anyone else able to do that? If so, what do I do?

when do you guys plan to start your real myleague?

I wait for a while before I start my MY League career. If the AI is smarter this year with making trades and signing FA I might also do a MY GM, but last year it was just too flawed to play MY GM, so I stuck with My League only where I could control all 30 teams so dumb stuff didn't happen.


I wait till atleast after the 1st patch and usually I wait till the 2nd patch which is typically the last patch not counting day1 patch of course to start a Association as I hate to restart because a patch screws up my career. Plus that way all rookies are in the game, as well as some missing players.


I know most probably don't like waiting that long to get started but most usually do more than 1 career, but me personally I don't like starting over and over. It also gives me time to play a lot with the Euro teams and Classic teams as well as get sliders perfected, as that usually takes time to get right with NBA2k each year.

I don't know whether this is the correct thread to post in (I tried searching and only "Trade Discussion" thread that came up is for NBA 2K15.

Since it relates to MyGM mode, I thought I ask my question here.

Would anyone be able to help me with a Trade to get Bradley Beal onto the Knicks?

The players that I don't want to include are Kristaps Porzingis and Melo. Everyone and any picks are fair game.

I tried including a 3rd team, but I am not very good at making the salary work out.

Forgive me if this is the wrong thread to post this in, just direct me to the thread I'm suppose to use, thanks!
