    your defense tutorials is AMAZING

dont tone it down at all, this was the best video you have done, and has blown up the strategy behind this game to an nth degree.

would love more defense tutorials too, as thats where im weak.

also, I never would have thought to keep the defensive strategy to neutral to not affect the individual player strategy, thats a nugget of gold I am VERY grateful for.

brilliant job man, you are the best.

Awesome videos, would love a dribbling one too, and probably one on tying dribbling moves into shots.

One thing I'd also like is to mention the corresponding Xbox button for Triangle/Circle etc which wasn't on the passing video, but that's such a small thing.

Great stuff Sam, needs to be stickied

I need help with playing transition D in online quick matches.

I'm getting killed in PIP simply because guys are sprinting down the court and getting easy buckets before I can even get my defense set. It even happens after I score and they inbound the ball, smh.

          Also, offensive rebounding.

I play with Detroit and I've barely had any offensive rebounds in any of my games.

One more thing, how is everybody getting these deflections? I understand if I throw a bad pass that it'll result in a steal, but sometimes defenders seem to come out of nowhere and do a crazy animation to jump, reach, strip, or deflect a pass for a steal.

I'm trying to utilize to lob and bounce passes but I'm not having much success yet.

Using the "Circle/B" button for handoffs is a freaking GODSEND. It makes running "Give/Handoff" plays look sooooooooo pretty. No more trying to time the regular pass button to make the handoff work properly. Love it.

So on d you want to force PG, SG and small forwards middle and PF and Centers baseline? I thought you wanted to force ever one baseline so that way you could use out of bounds like another defender. Also what does dig do? I am still confused what the whole 3/4 bottom type thing does.

Force baseline is the correct approach IRL, 2K has baseline warping (just a little) so the offence does gain an unfair advantage. As a result Middle is better.

3/4 bottom means if any offensive player gets into good post position your post defender will have 75% of their body behind their man while 25% is inching to the front side. This is important because it allows your big man to have a slight edge in helping MIDDLE. This is another reason why you want to force other players middle from he wings

Oh so in this game with the baseline middle thing you want to do the opposite of what you should do in real life lol.

It depends on what's beyond the pick. If there's a direct path to the basketball then by all means turbo away; however, if there are help defenders lurking you would want to turbo to separate from the pick and then you need to hesitate/yo yo the help defense into a situation that most benefits your team. Constant turning will lead to turnovers if help defense are in good position. So i suggest look beyond the pick and then decide if you want to TURBO to basket or YOYO the help defense.

Can you do a tutorial of using the Flex offense? Or creating space on offense?

Do you have general defensive settings that will work well against any team?
