You're not lying about the cpu cheating man. What happens is they ease up and play normal until you get up by a certain amount or at certain periods in the game, then they make your cpu controlled teammates start making silly mistakes like losing their man or simply just refuse to step up on shooters.

Just played a game (Timberwolves vs bulls) and i was up 4 at about 3 minutes left. Wiggins missed a free throw after that my cpu teammates basically just gave up the game. They lost cutters, They left shooters open, also fast break defense is terrible in this game is terrible. Anyway we ended up down by 9. closed the gap somehow but still ultimately lost the game.

The game is great. it's actually the best 2k game to date. It's just the cpu can sometimes ruin the experience by breaking the realism of the game by trying to create a challenge. It's makes me not care a bout winning or losing because i know the cpu can just do anything it wants to win and there's nothing i could do to stop it. Sliders may be needed, a few touch ups here and there should do the trick. CPU also doesn't shoot enough 3s. Very paint orientated this year. every team only shoots about 16 3s a game, probably due to how hard it is to make jump shots even with space.

yeah this really drags the game down for me. Cheap play isn't a good substitute for good AI. Every game I play follows the same pattern. Through 3 quarters I'm great, if I have a lead in the 4th, my players turn into idiots. They can't dribble, they can't pass, they can't shoot, and they constantly leave their defenders wide open. Don't even get me started on how they can't defend a simple pick and roll even though the first 3 quarters they had no issues.

I hope this gets patched. I love close games and don't want easy blowout games, but having cheap AI like this just takes me out of the game completely.

Don't give up when you get bumped, if your offensive player is skilled and faster a lot of times if you keep driving even after you get bumped your player sometimes will go into the animation where the defender ends up on the side of the ball handler allowing them to get past the defender.

Here's the thing tho. In the NBA, if you're driving and the defender bumps you, impeding your movement, that's a foul 100% of the time. This is just cheese defense on the computer's part.

2K please upgrade the studio for Shaq, Ernie, and Kenny, it's annoying to look at just too darn generic with 2K and NBA displayed everywhere! I suggest adding a flat screen in the background for highlights, and please add some paper and/or laptops on the top of the desk!

Bruh, we are talking about paper/laptops for the highlights... come on man. Play some of the other game and see what matters.

Next thing you know ppl will complain that ppl don't cough or sneeze during telecast. lol

Trade logic gotta be a bit better.. Derrick Rose should not be able to be traded for an Isaiah Thomas from the Celtics...As a Chicago guy, nah... you have to give me the whole kit and kaboodle for DRose...

But coming from a guy that played 2k15 on last gen, this game is amazing

This game is nice. I actually like the my career so far. I like spike lee so that is a reason why. I understand people's disappointment since you really don't get to choose your path so far.

Like I thought I would actually get to choose whether not I stay another year in college or go to the NBA. My career has been fun though. I like beating up on the short H.S. kids and playing college ball. College was good as it had the fight songs for the school I was playing with.

Overall the game is just really smooth with the animations and controls. Graphics are great. Best 2k so far this generation.

Love the independent actions happening at one

Take a jumper with Durant and while it's in the air Westbrook just over the back on a box out and gets called for the foul but the ball goes in and i still get the bucket

Hey can I get some help, the CPU doesn't seem to be adjusting to anything that I do. I dominated them with Jordan and Shaq, and I have never once seen a double team. Any ideas as to what's going on?

Played 8 game so far and I only play regulation time, none of this 6 minute qtr crap I see a lot play on,lol. Have to say game still plays wonderfully as usually after a few games is when you start to notice flaws in the game. Even looks like you fixed the subbing issue with a player in fould trouble or tweak it as I saw a guy sit out the whole 2nd qtr with fouls, so thank you for fixing that after a coulple years of it being broke.


Love how shotblocking is back and realistic shot block number are attainable now without feeling like you have to contstantly control the shot blocker to get that to happen as I see my AI teamamtes actually blocking shots now.


Taking some time to get use to the new controls, especially the passing, but have to say I do love the new passing controls.


Shooting is tough so please don't break it like you did last year, same goes for fouls, while you still need more non shooting fouls its better, and don't listen to the crybaby online players crying about too many fouls, if you play D like your taught IRL you wont draw a cheap foul.

As an experiment, I turned all the tendency sliders for the AI to 0 except for "attempt 3 pointers," which was set to 100, and went against the Warriors in a 12 minute quarter.

They shot 7 3s.

This is one of the worst video games I have ever played.

It feels terrible to play in MyCareer.

Player movement is terrible, can't hit any shots, horrible gameplay..and there are still tons of bugs where the game doesn't move past something for like 10 sec,


This is the least fun I have ever had, that I can remember, playing a sports game.

MyCareer does still have some frustrating AI flaws, though. Your AI teammates don't recognize you as often as I think they should, and unless you spend real money on the mode the progression is soooooo slowwwwwww.

Is there a sock glitch in the game, cause I don't see teams wearing the STANCE socks that was in all the trailers and screenshots. All they wear are generic black or white ones and in some case teams are wearing same sock colors. The home team was wearing white and the away team was wearing white socks never seen that in an actually NBA game where that takes place. If anyone has answers please let me know, do they need to unlock maybe
