I had scrapper badge last year and honestly it didn't really make a difference. Yes this badge is a pain in the *** to get. I have 1 loose ball save so far and immediately save and quit the game as I get them since it rarely happens lol. I've mentioned in another thread I steer the cpu near out of bounds and slightly tap steal button so that it hopefully bounces out then just spam dive button hoping to get that animation.

For post stepback pro make sure you're tapping the hop step button and not pressing it as that will result in a fadeaway animation if held too long. Continue to hold the LT so you don't escape from the post. Don't hold turbo cuz if u do ya might do shimmy fadeaways and that's not what you're looking for.

There are 5 different layup badges:

Any tips for getting hot? I play for the Bucks and MCW has floor general I think

Getting HOT this year is MUCH easier than last year IMO. I got microwave after 5 games (5 consecutive games player must have double rings) in 2nd season. Make sure u don't SIM any games to get it. I'm actually having some trouble with unfazed. I have counted at least 3-5 instances where I was HOT for 4 min straight and still no badge. Did anyone get it in less than 15 games? I'm only on 11th game so far.

It seems to me that all the mental badges are much easier/quicker too. I got microwave, unfazed, road dog and even hardened and prime time before christmas in my first full season as a Thunder SG. Good news is that the volume shooter (now mental) seemingly takes longer to get, although I haven't seen much negative effect from it on lower difficulties anyway.

On another note, what does deadeye even do this year, with the forced fadeaway animation I have only had it trigger once - on a post (non-forced) fadeaway nonetheless. Is there any way to "override" that animation?

It has been confirmed from beluba himself that they're fixing the auto fadeaway animation. This is what is most likely not causing deadeye to pop up. Nothing u can do for now cuz I struggle with this as well. Volume shooter so many ppl complain about it, but I honestly don't see ANY effect from having it. The description I think turns ppl off fast, but when you're playing u still get HOT just as quick without it IMO. U still get Volume Shooter the same way as last year; same exact requirement cuz I got it same way as last year.

Finally got hustle points after 291 off rebounds and about 100 second chance points.

Question: Does the shot creator badge trigger in simple pull up jumpers or you have to fade, step back etc etc?

Ive noticed it pop on a basic pull up shot several times, it's a must have (like acrobat for lay ups).

Really? This sucks because i've never gone up after a board i was just kicking it outside. Do you know how many second chance points i need approximately?

I got hustle points last night, with only about 40 offensive rebounds. I would say 30 putbacks is a solid number that someone else suggested.

Man I have 2 games straight with double red rings but the 3rd game I can't get both red rings for the life of me. Idk what it is man lol. Idk how useful microwave will be on a center anyway lol

It is useful . If you get hot things such as freethrows get a boost .

I was wondering if you boost an attribute column like playmaker say before you boost it your passing accuracy is a 56 and you boost it so it makes it 61. Now after you do that does that make you eligible to get a badge that requires a 60 passing accuracy

Yes! I have confirmed this getting one man fast break. Was at 84 speed did boost for 89. 85 is required speed for pg along with other requirements and I got it. Also, I was doing mid air change shot animations when i boosted my inside scoring cuz it's at zero. Couldn't do it prior to boost.

Edit: Sorry this is incorrect as one man fast break doesn't have speed requirement. Only pass accuracy, ball control, defensive rebounding /stealing. So that means everyone can get one man fast break lol
