So I'm playing Heat (me) vs. Knicks and it's a close game throughout. Carmelo has been killing us throughout the game but it remains close as Wade and Johnson keep us alive. Down by 7 with a little over a minute to go we force a turnover and score on consecutive possessions.
Down by 3, Melo has the ball in his hands and misses thanks to great defense by Johnson. We get the ball and cross half court with about 6 seconds on the clock. I call a timeout to set up a play to tie the game.
I inbound the ball and get it to Johnson to set up for the three to tie but before I can get the shot up, Melo fouls me with 4 seconds to go. I'm forced to shoot 2 free throws instead of going for the 3 point play.
I thought it was great due to the fact that 2k would have never made that play in previous versions.
