I appreciate 2k wanting to go in a more cinematic direction, but this is not, "MyPlayer" it's "Spike'sPlayer"

Things I am not or do not have, that "My" Player is:
      1. black parents and paternal twin sister
      2. Asian girlfriend
      3. My name is not Frequency Vibrations
      4. I didn't go to any of the 9 colleges offered (I realize you can't license every college team but I'd rather leave out college unless you're really going to put some emphasis on it. And then be able to put the college I went to like I could before.)
      5. I definitely did not average a 4.0 in high school and college

I realize not all things can be 100% me for the advancement of the story. I can accept having a stupid friend, or a stereotypical sports agent, but I cannot accept 2k deciding foundational things about my background if they really want me to feel any attachment to this story and this player.

I consider this grinding for xp at this point so I can play pro-am.

The Frequency Vibrations thing annoyed me the most honestly. They let you choose your own name, sure, but everyone still calls you Frequency (so stupid) in the cutscenes and even the announcers call you Freq. 2K really misled us saying we would still be able to name our own character when no one uses that name for the duration of the story.

My 12, soon to be 13 year old son got drafted by the Magic #5 overall. He also had like an 88 overall player because his mother thought spending an extra $50 on VC wasn't a problem. (I did the same thing, but I haven't upgraded MyPlayer at all yet).
