This has been a Legacy Glitch that's been in the game for years, but mostly unknown and not really addressed by 2K...
The double team & intentional foul glitch. I think it was partially fixed for exhibition style 5on5 games (causing more fouls), but it still remains for mypark.
Basically the glitch is if you press double team or intentional foul button (not a manual double team or intentional foul), it will cause all defenders to "perk up" and boost their awareness and defense. So on offense it feels like there is some added pressure force field type of effect. So it affects dribbling on offense, collision detection, boosts contesting shots, etc.
Why is that a glitch or problem? 'Cause any of your human teammates can press double team button or intentional foul button at any time and effect the outcome of the play without any skill. All you have to do is time it right and it will give defenders "sticky hands" for stealing passes, etc.
How to fix? Don't allow these CPU buttons of double team and intentional foul to have that force field effect during all-human controlled modes. It should have ZERO impact as far as giving your manually controlled players artificial defensive boosts.
If you don't believe this is a glitch, try it yourself in-game. Press intentional foul in-game during mypark, while your my player isn't close to the play. It will definitely cause some strange crap in the game.
