Seems like team specific lighting isn't there. Played in LA Lakers to check and place was fully lit.

Funny, because checked the lighting with the 80's team and it had the crowd darkened properly.

They're loosing credibility for sure...

I am really enjoying the game so far........but you just have to accept that their PR guys simply hype up stuff that is simply not true.

I have accepted that....I used to get frustrated, but these guys likely do not even play the game. They just hype it. The 2K gameplay guys are legit...it is the PR guys who are not. Ultimately, the gameplay is geat.

But authentic arena sounds and lighting.................simply not true. PR guys sell stuff. They hype stuff. It is what it is.

But then why release a trailer hyping that certain aspect of the game(along with other but this was being touted very high)and bragging about "we traveled 16,000 miles to each Arena" when you know you haven't touched or improved them?

Seems like the PR team put a massive spin on things...

I.e. The devs probably said we sent a sound guy to every arena to record some net sounds....

PR = authentic arena sounds from every nba arena!

I saw Ronnie 2K claim online he did not see any mistakes in the Bucks court...he even said 'hey, maybe they have changed it this year!' to justify the error.

Ummm, yeah. Except the mistakes were there last year...and the Bucks changed it last year.

I get the feeling the PR team know very littl about the NBA....which, to be fair, is not their job. They have to promote tons of games and genres. They are good at hype, so it works.

Just played my first game at Staples and it was bright like last years game. Must be a glitch, they wouldn't say it in their marketing and then it be THAT obvious.

But ah the knicks court is still baby blue...what's up with that? Not allowed the correct dark blue? Copyright issues?

What's with MSG? How come they can't get the rights to that and TD Garden?

This is the first I heard this too. So they can use the court but just use brighter different colors to save money and not get a lawsuit?
