I agree with everything you guys are saying. Accessories are important to me, I am happy other people care too. Hoping they patch them in sometime. All I've wanted was compression pants that they already have in the damn game anyways all they have to do is put it in the freaking my player closet!!

Unfortunately i don't see any hope of anything discussed in this thread being addressed for 2k16 and only a small hope of a few things being touched upon for 2k17

From what I can tell its more of a cycle thing even for something that exist in other parts of the game. I was beyond frustrated with the way the equipment looks in Madden since Madden 25 and thought okay Madden 16 this is it they will fix the ankle tape! Saw early screens still did not want to believe it!

I Ended up spending $59.99 on it anyway. Turned it on disappointment all over again. I read somewhere here in the forms that Rex is planning to do a full equipment overall for Madden 2017!

I see the same type of approach for 2K. I put it to you this way I am not a huge basketball fan because I grew up playing baseball instead. But I have literally lost sleep over 2k16 the last couple of day's because it feels that real to play movement wise and presentation and the player models are really life like.

I have said it before its better to wait two years than to shell out money on Madden every year because of their long term strategy so in 2019 expect Madden to be great equipment wise! As for 2K16 its already great so expect those accessory changes we all complain about every year and never see a change not to take place until hopefully 2017 or you guessed it 2019!

Once I found out that I could not change the sock height in My Career. I quit the mode and created a player and started a My League instead.

We are visual people 2K so if anyone is listening read the post in this thread. We are not bashing we are just looking for answers to a frequent request over the last 3 years!

I just don't understand, weren't they bragging about the socks and the sock options for this year? Where the hell did they go?

Just let us wear compression pants or shorts and tanks and layer our knee pads and socks how we want. This is a simple request that is asked for EVERY YEAR. Go look at their Twitter and Instagram. SO MANY PEOPLE are asking where the hell the options are.

Like I said before, at this point we should have all the cool designs compression pants and other gear has in real life with more and more options collected over each generation of 2K games. Instead, we don't even have the basics.

WHAT IS THE DEAL.

Can we PLEASE get a response on this. It's literally been YEARS.


I really want to know which dev thought we cared more about Spike Lee directing cut scenes then having the same options as NPC players. THE SOCKS ARE IN THE GAME, why can't we wear them? Hell, the engine to equip socks is in the game as seen on the CAP. WHY CAN'T WE DO IT for MC?!

I bet the same dude that made this decision is the one that thought FREAK was a cool nickname.

NBA Logos aren't removed, you just have to equip the headband multiple times to get it to move around the head. Rob Jones has also said they'll be adding more things with the patch. I know for a fact that they're adding more scanned shoes but not sure if that includes socks/other accessories.

Hmm.. i just bought a Headband.. i can press x to wear it.. then press x again to switch it to the front.. but i dont see any Logo.. yes i cann press x two time before i remove it again but i dont see the Logo..?

In all seriousness, the sock thing is a killer, have no idea why a game as great as 2K would do something like this. I expect small patches here and there to fix it.. 2K you better be reading this..

Man, I just want to wear the same socks my team is wearing. That's all.

It irks me so much to see the team MyPlayer plays for (Knicks) wearing team socks of blue and orange and here I am wearing these short black socks.

I mean ideally it would be nice to have all sock options open to me, but I could settle for just being in uniform with my team.

Also, I cannot take off the undershirt I put on.

Good news guys. It looks like you unlock the socks when you get the endorsement in your second year when the game opens up. Someone confirmed this for me on my channel (posted on a video). I hope length options are in there.

Dom, the agent, told me he's working on the endorsement so once I get it I will let you know.

Also, good to hear they will be adding stuff. Hopefully compression pants and logo placement will be fixed.

As for the headbands, I tried hitting X numerous times and it does not fix the logo issue.

Crap. I declined the Stance socks endorsement because I thought I read on here that it didn't unlock anything for you other than VC.

It didn't unlock anything for me but VC. Now I am hearing there is a difference sock endorsement? I don't know. Someone should clarify. There is another dude on another forum that says winning the stance sock endorsement glitches socks for my park because it allows you to wear them in NBA games.

But I'd like some evidence. Oh, and remember the Ronnie 2K tweet about putting yourself on a sock for My Career? I am hoping there is a sock endorsement that is part of just playing like there was for sneakers in the prior years. Kind of stupid if you ask me.

Honestly, I'm about to stop doing endorsements. They give very little VC and I'd rather spend my off days in practice or with connections to unlock more fans, badges etc.

Honestly, 2k should just go back to the older versions where you could just edit your player and put accessories for free. The only clothing you should have to use VC for should be off court clothing makes no sense to pay vc to wear a headband imo.
