I just hope they don't try to fix this by making full court passes impossible.... NBA players could cherry pick all day in real life. ... and most full court passes are successful. .

But the difference is they can adjust in real life. I haven't seen this issue but if there is legitimate adjustment and even the best of players can't stop it, that's probably just an a.i issue.

Please don't band aid by ruining full court passes

I think he was talking about the success rate if no defenders is there. Which i agree with, in real life real nba players do not throw full court passes out of bounds and success rate is very high without no Defenders

Obviously this is a video game so in the essence of fairness i understand the reason behind make those type of passes low percentage than it actually is

The best way to confirm this thread is by doing a few cherrypicking offense by yourself. (just to try it!!!). Today I did 4 consecutive cherrypicking and all were absolutely SUCCESS. I made 4 easy dunks with Leonard!. My opponent read my strategy at my 2nd try, and he couldnt stop me because his defender (Lebron) seems to be glued and slow when defending my cherrypicker offensive player (Leonard).

Of course, im not a cheeser. I did it 4 times today just to confirm my theory that this is an exploit. After my fourth try, I felt dirty to be cheeser for about 2 minutes lol lol lol.

Bottom line, this cheesy tactic is successful. I do strongly suggest to be toned down

Nah trust me bro, this problem is real. I love NBA 2K16 and I think its the best 2K ever...........but there is no doubt that the transition defense in this game is horrible. Even if you set your POE to limit transition, they still get beat by someone just turboing down the court and making a couple passes.

The A.I. transition defense and help defense must be fixed. Right now, it is broken.

This video shows exactly what I hate about Play Now Online. No need for a floor spacer like Irving, just throw a dunker at PG and turbo to the rim. That guy was content with digging the post and leaving Dragic, Bosh, Deng, Green and Winslow open for 3s.

Just imagine how the 2K15 DTF cards would break MyTeam in 2K16. People would be running around with 99 Speed, 99 Quickness,99 Layup and 99 Dunk Blake Griffins and Larry Nances at PG.

Online definitely needs some work. Nice proof for those posting vids.

As for long passes in game modes such as MC, it should definitely NOT BE patched. On HOF default, I am being rewarded for staying back on defense quickly and filling the lanes correctly on offense as a guard and not crashing the boards (unless coach directives state to). On the other side of things, making/receiving long outlet passes feel very realistic and punishing the CPU for collapsing too much for rebounds is extremely rewarding.

But, again, I can see where people are coming from on the online front. I am just concerned about other modes such as MC being like last year where good passers are throwing it into another zip code.

No doubt the transition defense is HORRIBLE and SLOW this year. Help defense is r e t a r d.
Its impossible to counter the cherrypicking or the cheeses putting Lebron as PG all game long because your defense seems GLUED to the floor at the time to run fast to counter the cherrypicking.

Your other team defenders (A.I.) seem lost at the time to run back on D or simply decide to not run back or even WORSE: go out of bonds or crashing with the public!!! lol lol (these are the time when i realize this is a video game)

Its totally unrealistic. Its like the 2k16 team made sure that fast break are overpowered this year making the D a little physically and mentally impaired. (note that im referring to ONLINE Quick Rank Matches). (the only mode I play since 2k7)
