Not being able to exceed 15 players for the guys signed as injury exceptions really sucks (combined with not wanting to temporarily remove injured players), even more so than last year. Memphis, New Orleans and Milwaukee now all missing players :/

I never add guys on 10 day contracts. They usually don't stick around, anyway. I only add when they sign for the rest of the season.

I feel you, but when I play Play Now Online, I just rotate through all 30 current teams each game, so I like to have the current roster for each team.
At this point, with all the injuries to a team like Memphis, I can't replicate their current team as everyone is injured and they have 3 hardship exceptions at the moment.

Memphis and New Orleans are getting to a point where it's difficult to keep the roster updated injury-wise without the ability to add the guys taking their place.

Going through the Free Agent pool, I do not understand why some of these guys are still in the game:

Aaron Gray - Retired, now a Assistant Coach with Detroit
Jason Kapono - Retired since 2013
Mike James - Retired since 2014
Steve Nash - Retired during 2013-2014 season
Kenyon Martin - Retired
Andrei Krilenko - Retired
Larry Sanders - Retired during last season.
Andray Blatche - Signed 3 Year Deal in China last year with no NBA out clause. Meaning that he can't sign with any NBA team until the contract is finished.
Ray Allen - Not officially retired, but I seriously doubt he returns to play at 40+.

They just take up space IMO.

Sanders will be back soon. I'm actually hoping my Lakers will give him a chance. He has season tickets, so he's probably familiar with the higher-ups there. Nazr Mohammed was retired, too, but he decided to come back. Money and opportunities can change your mind pretty quickly. Lol!

I completely agree with you, seems to me it's just utter laziness on 2k's part. There's no reason they cant get rid of guys like that and replace them with d-league guys, who actually have a chance of returning to nba. Give me Josh Childress, Terrico White, and Devin Ebanks over the retired guys any day. 2k already has all their player faces anyway from past games. If you're really that big of a Nash, and Allen fan you can play with them in the classic rosters. 2k is great game, but it could be that much better if they utilized the d-league better. Personally, I'd even rather have the d-league teams than euroleague.

GUYS, 2K is pretty much accurate with body edits. so as much as possible, do not edit them. i created a thread in the 2K Basketball Rosters and i will post more whether you should edit or not. don't touch these guys body edits if you want to keep the game as real as possible

Lol exactly and they need to work on the necks and traps on the player models. Too thick. Some of them look like Football players/Body Builders imo (Just look at the myplayer model we have to use). Porzingis looks too big to me. Look at his neck for example in comparison to that picture posted. Basketball players are for the most part slim. Some of 2K's slim models still look big imo.
