I don't get why 2k can't just copy a working ProTeam mode from the FIFA series... The whole matchmaking is just horrible. We were 6 guys and tried to get a game going with 2 teams each consisting of 3 guys + 2 AI players. Didn't work out, because we never found each other. Instean we always found 1 or 2 walk on guys..... Why even allow someone to walk on without a team?! Make it a necessity to join a team before playing, and we will lose all this waiting time because of 2 random guys blocking the matchmaking queue...

I have a feeling like I am a beta tester for this game mode. The idea is good, but maybe next year it will work better. Such a shame.

Played at least 10 games (I play more during the dead of night which may be why even though there are a few hiccups here and there). Here's a tip for the running around thing that aren't really anything confirmed but seem to be the case from experience:

If you play a game in the mode (as a team) and don't get a match up the next time around or exit for whatever reason, then make sure that everyone exits to their own court and that teh host exits to the main menu then back into their court before inviting everyone. You might not HAVE to do this but as a host, I've had that happen a LOT less since we've been doing that. It's a pain but it's easier to do than wait forever for a game then deal with that bug.

REALLY hate the region locking aspect too. We have a friend who's on every night when we have five and gets left out just because he lives in the East. So either we run 4's in the Park with someone else sitting out (why couldn't they just put 5's back in there if this is the case?) or he sits out when we play Pro-Am. We tried every possible workaround we can think of (including someones idea in this thread of setting it to invite only and then inviting, didn't work sadly).

Also haven't been able to get to the arena even though I'm pretty sure we had a full 5 on 5 with teams last night which is HIGHLY disappointing if it's the case. The fact that we don't know any information about this mode or why it is this way is heavily irritating too (not surprising since in an unrelated issue, I've been owed 75K VC since Saturday and after numerous messages between 2K support and I with proof of purchase, still have not gotten my VC in the game, I already gave up on the pre-order stuff). Love the game itself but hate these aspects.

What's up with the radio silence from 2k? I've tried to play this mode dozens of times since Friday and I've only been able to play in two working games. Let us know what's going on. ****.

I love this mode but only thing I dislike is the fact that people can shoot midrange at a crazy percentage.

Is it true playing with 3 pairs you with 2 randoms rather than cpu? If so that really sucks, crew back in 2k11 was the most fun with 3 people and 2 cpus because you are able to dominate offensively. With 5 it can feel a little cluttered and there's only so many touches to go around so sometimes it can be a bit boring. Not to mention all the waiting, server issues etc

I never fully bought into the proam hype. We get a record and don't have to wait anymore when it's finally working right (probably at least a month before it's playable enough). But possibly needing 5, no team stats, player stats which I loved about 2k11. Kinda kills it for me. I'm enjoying the game and 2K seem to finally be taking steps in the right direction for online but yeah

If you play as a team it will give you CPU players. If you play as walk ons it will match you with randoms. At least that has been my limited experience.

This happened to me, I ended up deleting my other player and It would still load that player even though he was deleted lmao.
