Nice. Glad to know where you get selected isn't scripted. Gotta love a 55 overall shooting guard going #1 overall HAH

Honestly it's not that weird. The draft is a crap shoot. Kwame Brown, Anthony Bennett, Darko and other high draft terrible players.

This was my very first time through, but my guy is a 55 overall (no upgrades) 6'7 Outside SG. His 55 overall really shows in the NBA. I went from being the Freek to just freekishly bad. Oh well, it's only for 8 games and then I'm putting my VC to use and heading to Chicago.

I got drafted 29th even though I intentionally fouled out of every game from high school to college.

"Sir, we need to draft this guy, he intentionally fouled out of every game he played in."

"That sounds awful. He doesn't sound like a guy our organization needs at all."

"But sir, you don't understand, you can either get this guy we know a lot about, or we can gamble on an unknown talent... the mystery box as it were."

"Yes, the mystery box. You know how badly we want a player, the mystery box could be anything, it could even be a boat... I mean a player."

"That settles it, I'm taking the mystery box."

Draft day comes, and the commissioner takes one look at the player he just announced.

"Did they just draft a guy who has played all of 84 seconds in his entire high school and collegiate career? Man, times are a changing, no wonder the old boss left this job."

I went 2nd to the Lakers as a center.

boo, i wanted to get drafted by the lakers my first year. ended up going to detroit and jumping ship to the lakers after my 1st season was over. had to take a pay cut too, and a mins cut. i think because i'm the same position as kobe. and i play sg/pg and a little sf. they probably drafted you since in real life they could use a big man or a PG. but not a SG/SF guy. i guess that means they have good logic in there.

PG, I went 8th to the Pistons.. Played mostly as a SG since Detroit has a full roster of PG
