That's how it should be. I've got no problems hitting 50% on wide open attempts with good shooters on HoF/Sim. In MyTEAM and the online modes, midrange shots go in ata very, very high rate. Try stepping in.

A jumper in crunch time is the last shot you should be taking. Get into the defense and draw the foul. Especially with melo you might get an and 1.

I hear you, man. I've been in many situations this year where I either want or need a 3 with a couple of seconds left, or it's late in the game an the open shot is too good to pass up. Had a couple where he's missed good layup attempts for me in the clutch as well.

The Knicks find a way to Knick for me. So many close L's. I feel like I earn everything I get with the this team this year. In other iterations of 2k I could count on Melo burying everything. Love this **** even if though we're having online struggles right now.

The problem with quick game is its a single sample size every time. Over the course of an 82 game season, melo won't hit every buzzer beater either. Matter of fact, mj wasnt hitting every buzzer beater he ever took, those shots are simply so iconic that everyone associates that with his whole career i guarantee you he's lost more games than won on the last shot. Matter of fact, i remember a commercial he did a few years back addressing the same issue.

My suggestion is stay away from online if you're looking for consistency. All the ratings in the world can't help if you're taking a long 2 with melo vs an open shot under the basket with a big or even drawing the d to a shooter outside.

What I don't understand is, how can you an 80 free throw, mid and close range shot rating result in 80% of those opens shots going in, but have a 80 three and only hit .33% of your open threes?

Not intuitive at all - especially when spec'ing out your MyPlayer

I don't know about you, but my myplayer is a Inside SG, and I'm around 30% from 3. That's realistic IMO, especially since I sacrificed 3s for inside scoring

Missed three wide open 3pt attempts with KD the other day. Off the screen, no one in his area, had time to set up, and boom I miss them. It's definitely frustrating, but I ended up going 13-20 with him (2-5 from the trey). I always seem to miss 3's more with Real FG% that I know I would make with user timing (especially with KD's timing), but I figure that's the draw of using Real FG%.

Week 2 of having the game. Not doing too bad with shooting. This was a very patient game for me today. You have to play the Warriors differently than other teams, so I am surprised I blew them out. All Star/Sim. I changed back to All Star and I will leave it there even though I can play on Superstar. I don't have anything to prove to anyone. I can play. The shooting gets better when you keep playing. I am feeling it now. Week 1 was disastrous with the constant fastbreaks and points off of turnovers, which is not my game but part of it. Now I can play my all around game again.

80% of games I have played online. 25% shooting from 3. 17% shooting from 3. And I'm taking wide open shots with shooters I know how to play with. It's just a little too much. No reward for creating an open shots

Holy poop, Batman. 52 three point attempts in a regulation game? 235 combined field goal attempts? That's a shot every 12 seconds. And this was a patient game for you?
