The only thing I would like patched is the frequency in which a player going for a dunk just randomly loses the ball and hurls it at the goal. I've seen plays similar to that maybe twice in my life and it's been when a player was fouled back at the middle of the lane trying to dunk and tried to throw the ball for an and-1.

These guys are just throwing the ball at the rim even on non fouls when they are definitely close enough to still attempt the dunk or attempt a lay-up. Idk why this garbage looking animation was even added to the 2k series last year. But this year it's too much. I saw it 3-4 times during the first game I played after the install. Just far too frequent.

The thing I hate is everyone wants to be instantly satisfied.

Like, it's a new game; everything should be hard right now.

Learn the game first, play for a month..if you still can't figure stuff out and other people are with you then okay maybe something should be patched.

But the people saying to patch shooting and defense right now need to take a couple weeks and learn some tricks first.

You make a good point about playing the game for awhile first. BUT, there are times when you see something thats pretty obvious on first look. that needs patching for example that super sticky defense from average to below average defenders fake sliding to catchup to your offensive player who just beat them to the spot. thats not realistic at all. thats not sim at all.

i've said this a lot to others who talk about sim. what sim is to you and to me is probably two different things. when i say sim. i actually mean real life basketball. Not a situation where if i turn it to HOF mode my guys with high ratings will start blowing wide open 3's and wide open layups. someone will say "well shoot mid range jumpers." thats a thought. but the truth is, i never should have to if the defense made mistakes and i punish them for it with a 3 ball or drive to the basket. a lot of you really believe sim ball is looking at the post game box scorers and seeing realistic fg%'s.
