Man heck yeah...

I took HT's advice and started running some zone against WB and dude didn't know what to do...missed like 8 3's in a row trying to shoot out of it...I ran away from there...

I haven't played alot of online yet but from what I've played it's pretty solid. I haven't go my shot down yet but other that that it's been a fun ride.

BTW will we ever have an online mode that uses real shooting percentages? Common 2k make it happen!

That might be one of the few things to get me to ever play online again.

Which tier are you guys in? I swear My Team plays better than this mode for me. I jump between College and Development.

In My Team if someone tries the same cheesy tactics they lose the ball or get blocked. But in PNO I'm seeing kyrie dribble through the paint constantly and gliding to the rim with little resistance. I'm really baffled because there is a noticeable gameplay difference between this and My Team.

He was steal spamming like crazy starting off and got some TO's....got me playing at his pace a bit too... recovered and eventually pulled away...

Did an ok job defending the fast breaking in the first half, not so much the second- lost focus...

Video highlights some of the transition issues no doubt, especially on FTs....feel like I had a chance to stop most of them though..

Do you feel like you shoot better with the shot meter off?

I don't know if its the update or the "League" I'm currently in...but my shooting has been AWFUL today.

I do feel like I shoot better without it....

Meter just frustrates me tbh

Love this game, only thing I truely hate is the cavs users,(ironically I'm a diehard lebron fan) also I hate when people pick the same jerseys. But, I love the tiers winning with a team like the trail blazers is real rewarding. & I want to use classic teams.

Whatever was good about online ranked last week has vanished. Finding myself in tight games against people who just turbo and are reckless with the ball. CPU defense seems weaker which just allows players like Jeremy Lin to get to the basket without calling a play. In short, it's not fun anymore.

Really? Well when I'm in Myteam and dump it in the post to Lopez/Horford I make around 80-90% of my hook shots.

I only attempt them when I'm deep downlow but this is the first year where I feel the hook shots are a viable move in the post.

And occasionally funny stuff like this will happen.

I'm in the tier before classic teams are unlocked. Not sure the name lol.

But yeah MyTeam really does seem more "sim" than Play Now, or less cheesy at the very least.

I've had no problem shutting down superstar teams with my Beverly/JR/Melo/Lopez/Gobert lineup in MyTeam.

Finally greatest of all time rank, used solely the Knicks. Except twice. Online is fun as long as you avoid the cavs users lol. And for the guy having trouble holding leads with the Knicks. It always happens so there's no preventing the come back but sometimes if your playing good defense though and they come back, just know the scale will go back your way and after the timeout is called(probably by your team automatically when they tie or get close) if you play smart after the timeout you can get a 8 0 run of your own. Grant has a lot of nifty badges for his rating. And Derrick Williams flies on fast breaks. Calderone is also their best shooter and should remain on the bench for bad defense. Just a little advice it might not work for everyone hope it does though

Definitely agree on the timeout thing.

Had an epic comeback on a Cavs user today. Went on an 11-0 run with a minute and a half left in the 4th. Dude couldn't score lol.

Yup lol those are the best comebacks. Holding leads with tier 3 teams are incredibly hard but very rewarding if you find a way to do it. Also saw people speaking about be kings, I have been trying to use them myself but everyone plays so fast I get caught up and cousins doesn't fit into the fast break game. Besides pick and pop his moves aren't guaranteed buckets so the risk isn't worth it for me
