Welp...I'm done playing this bullsh*t. Went from dethroning NBA 2K11 to being NBA 2K15 2.0. Someone send me a message when they decide to bring defense back again.

I'm definitely with you on this. When the game first released it was incredibly smooth and I could control my players very well on offense and defense.

Now my ball handler moves does maybe half of the controls that I input. And guarding on the perimeter is borderline impossible.

Maybe the servers have slowed down now that everyone in the world is playing this game but it took a huge step back in latency over the last few days.

Definitely not enjoyable. I may also stop playing soon if I can't control my players online

i have this exact problem but no one ever pays attention to me when i make threads lol go figure.

Definitely needs to be fixed though, i know exactly what your talking about. ive done everything youve done.. switched controllers, redownloaded the game, reset controller, changed settings, delete files, reset router.. nothing worked

what about the PNR controls? are you guys seeing guys not rolling to the rim when you tell them to? Or when when you do PNR the big goes to the side you tell him then all of sudden move to the other side.

anybody having any issues with in game menus?

yesterday my substitution menu got stuck on the screen

had to pause and unpause the game for it to finally go away

only time that has ever happened to me though

I'd be lying if I didn't say something feels different in PNO....especially with on ball defense...and y'all know I'm not one to really buy into off the record changes....

Yeah, I don't think that I just started to feel sluggish all of a sudden without something changing. It kinda feels like 2k15 again. I immediately noticed a control/responsiveness difference when this game first came out, but the past few days I just feel like everything is a bit off.

I'd say something has been altered. I might try to reinstall without the update. See if that does anything.

Man...yes! I am having all of these problems as well. No matter what I do, and I've read through a ton of tips and tutorial threads, playing on ball defense is just impossible for me. Just constant blow-bys. My defenders move so slowly and awkwardly and sometimes in the wrong direction. This happens on the perimeter and in the post. If I get a stop it feels more like luck, or that for some reason the opponent/CPU chooses not to exploit the fact they are WIDE open.

You mention the game feels unresponsive. That is the best way to describe the problems I'm having. Incredibly frustrating.

As a side, I feel this also on offense when trying to shoot. There sometimes feels like there's a 1 second difference between when I tell my player to shoot (using shot stick) and when they start their shooting motion. This throws off my release timing completely, and makes it near impossible to exploit being open, as any separation I get is killed by the unresponsiveness of my players.

I noticed this a little in mycareer but I thought it was because my reaction time rating on myplayer is 66. Anyway to improve that ?

definately noticed it too, alot of skating around now compared to first few days.....its getting frustrating again

Straight horrible...If I was controlling my big he would throw the ball to his big and he run right around me like he was a guard because my big was stuck in sludge.

I'm glad it's not just me. I've been noticing this happening in previous 2K's as well. It seems like there are behind-the-scenes update that take place that change the behavior of the game. When the game first launched, it was one of the most immersive experiences I ever had in a sports game. The players moved realistically, and the controls were tight -- a perfect combination for a simulation sports game. This weekend, however, something just feels different, and no amount of tinkering with settings is able to get that 1:1 feeling back for me.

Well I don't know if it's a case of an adjustment to layup accuracy or something but playing offline on all-star against the Blazers, and it was SO MANY CONTACT LAYUPS. By Lillard. By Henderson. By McCollough.

To be fair Barbosa was kind of getting into the action too. Not a big fan of how small CPU guards of varying actual abilities seem to play so well and finish so consistently with pressure. And seemingly make every open shot.

I played a game against the Blazers this morning, and the entire platoon of guards were playing like All-stars. I could Damian Lillard finishing consistently inside, but Gerald Henderson and McCallum were both playing like elite guards.

Now that you say that, it definitely does feel different - worse - than when I played my first few games. The game really was awesome those first few days. Playing it legitimately felt "real." How is it possible the game can be edited without a patch or any other file having been downloaded though? I mostly play offline to boot.
