My biggest beef is that the socks don't seem to be correct. I'm playing as the Bulls in MyGM and in home games they're making me wear black socks that aren't the correct stance socks that Chicago will be wearing this year anyway. Same goes with Indiana they've got me using dark home socks when every team has a special designed white pair with coloured branding.

They probably didn't get all the "accurate" designs in this year and had to use some conceptual designs instead.

Remember, the designs shown when the deal between Stance and the NBA is different from what we got in game.

I'm just happy that we have colored socks in the actually game, so working on make it a customizable option can be addressed later. With everything else that the art team needed to address a feature like that was probably low on the priority list.

I just don't understand those who take such issue with other people's issues/opinions with the game. If something doesn't bother you, fine. Good for you.


Just because they don't think something is a big deal, they feel the need to come into these threads and attack people, cluttering up the thread in the process.


There are TONS of threads where people have issues with stuff. Just because some of those issues don't bother me (ex: players not sweating in 12 minute quarters) doesn't mean I'm gonna go in there and whine about the person who DOES have an issue with it.


Everybody has different wants/issues. It's not a big deal. Not sure why some are so bothered by it.

Cause people get tired of hearing mindless complaining about everything and anything u can find......it literally feels like some people just play the game to find things to come on here and whine about

At least I add something to the discussion, instead of crying about others opinions.


This is a message board for the game. There are plenty of people who point of stuff that's wrong and needs to be patched. If there weren't, things wouldn't get fixed.

I have no problem with options and customization. But if it's a rule, then it's a rule. Simple as that.

It literally feels like you got the game just to pick apart very minuscule details.

You just complained socks are white enough... that isn't standards that's nitpicking. Plenty of stuff gets fixed. But you think not white enough socks is gamebreaking. You add nothing to a discussion after the fact, you think there should be an option to choose socks. everything after a valid complaint has been a nitpick and add no extra realism to the game.

I did and it's derailed too far in, 2K fixed it I guess.

I would recommend just ending the thread man, cause this is gonna be a back and forth between socks and whether or not it's perfectly fine for 2K to not accurately/allow apply socks edit.

Though I'll slide in one sock thing, classic players shouldn't be wearing black socks if they played before 1996.

Either have this be an OS classic or just kill it off.

I don't mean to be THAT guy by nitpicking at your words bdolski, but to you I ask this about "rules."

How do you feel about the option to customize the league by realigning divisions, or turning the salary cap off for that matter?

I want rules! Lol. I'm probably the biggest campainer for more current CBA rules in MyLeague and MyGM. Every rule they can possibly implement from 10 day contracts to draft rights to non-guaranteed contacts and everything in between as explained by Larry Coon in the cbafaq.

But if MyLeague is going to be advertized as our own customizeable sandbox, then let it be just that. And if someone doesn't want to have options, well then you ignore them and leave them as default as I do with the salary cap option or trade rules.

Well, for some reason unknown to anyone, they switched it up again....forcing us to wear colored socks in quick games.


This is unbelievable. They had it right. Then screwed it up. Then fixed it. And now messed it up again.

OK, this is just beyond annoying now.

It's been a few months since the last post in this thread, and the still have yet to resolve this issue.

For some time now, anytime you play 'offline-play now" games, you are forced to wear the white Stance socks. Whether you are home or away. Not only do teams where plain white/black socks most of the time, more often than not they wear black socks on the road.

Well, last night, to my surprise, I get on to play and they have the players wearing plain white (home) and black (away) socks. I'm thrilled, thinking they finally fixed the issue.

NOPE. Got on tonight tand they're wearing the white Stance socks again. Unbelievable.

Look, if this is a money issue with Stance (which would be lame), then at least have the road teams wearing their dark Stance socks.

The plain black n white socks are the ones prodimantly worn by teams yet 2K have it around the other way with only 3 of the 7days of the week we are able to wear them. Just give us the option and be done with it!! So annoying!

WI I'm not sure what youre seeing. Default sock colors (non core color and team logo designs) are correct for every uniform (except for any that are pending changes over the last few days like Houston wearing black with their road jerseys instead of red socks)

There are 3 types of socks:
-Default (white, black, red, blue or yellow)
-Core Color (typical the striped pattern socks)
-Team Logo (self explanatory)

Default are worn on mon-wed and either core color or team logo are worn thurs-sun.

Do you mean like if you wear white jerseys on the road or away at home? The socks are unfortunately tied to the jersey, not the location. I can tell you for sure in the latest roster update that for default socks, the Bucks have white socks assigned to their home whites, and black assigned to their away greens and alternate blacks.

Since they havent worn anything else with their road jerseys yet, they still might have core color (white with green stripes) assigned for their green and black unis rather than the team logo. Is that what youre talking about? Having core color for all 3?

If 2k17 doesnt overhaul customization of accessories I think we're gonna riot lol.
