There's a little trick for getting the connection you want on off days. If you guys want I can post the vid here.. I don't have the link handy, but let me know.

Also I have a quick question, hopefully someone is able to help.
Early on in my 2nd Season (after the Spike Lee Joint story concluded) before deselecting connections on busy stretches, I missed a couple of connections with DeRozan and one or two others due to either attending practice or making endorsement appearances, and now when they're selected they have a yellow smiley with a blank expression beside their block.
Does anyone know the meaning or significance of the smilies (green happy smiley, yellow expressionless smiley and presumably red sad smiley) and does this affect future connections with them
(EG: if I missed connection event 1 with DeRozan, have I missed out now for the rest of my Career and can now only get at most a possible two reward for connecting with him, or will I continue to get countless opportunities to connect with DeRozan until I have completed all 3 of his connection events)?

You'll always be able I get all three. If you make someone mad (red icon) you just have to wait for them to calm down. I've never made anyone mad but I've been able to get all three when I skip people's connection

After seeing the yellow icon pop up, I was worried I blew my chances at the connection. At least it's always possible, even if it takes a little longer.

No problem my man. I've only gotten the red icon once, on a test run thru mc but I remember it saying he was mad or whatever then about a week later I got the same connection for the same reward. So it's not possible to miss any rewards, and if they're yellow, that means you skipped it once and if it's red you skipped it twice and they're "mad" and you hav to wait a while. I took them off my connections and then about a week (in-game) I added them back and it worked.

The video starts on November 13th. Then he starts unconnectin with people and backing out into the main screen over and over again. Then he just cuts it to the NBA 2K Interview on the 26th which is two weeks later.


So wht exactly do you do? That's not a very clear video

It was kindve hazy for me too, but it's fairly simple once you get the hang of it.

Eg. Pull up Al Jefferson and Andrew wiggins
Out of the two you selected Andrew is available to do his off day, so go into the menu, and keep Al (Busy) checked as you're base uncheck Andrew and check the guy you actually want to spend an off day with.
If it doesn't work start back over and check Andrew and Al again, and keep uncheckimg Andrew until the guy you want to use pops up.

It's trial and error, but once you get the hang if it it gets very quick and easy..

You can do it with only one guy if you wanted to. Say you want to connect with Shaq but he doesn't want to hang out on this off day. Go into Connections, unselect Shaq and reselect Shaq and go the calendar and he should be available to hang out with, if he isn't just repeat the process as long as needed.
