As someone who has played and watched a lot of organized basketball, you should be prepared to immediately shoot when you don't have the ball, dependent, of course, on the play.

          Extra step when wide open.

It's supposed to simulate "stepping into your shot".....should only happen if your holding a direction upon receiving the ball and shooting though....

Unless you're saying that you're playing my career and your CPU teammates are doing this.....couldn't be sure of that by reading the thread...

Yes, I see it a lot in Myleague and MyCareer from the other teams big men

Gotcha, yeah I'd imagine that'd be annoying if guys are stepping into defenders....

It's lovely, especially when a defender is running at you hard. I do it all the time with LMA. I think what guys are saying here is that in MyCareer, when your throwing to a big, they are doing it by themselves.

Yep, this is it. I actually watched a guy's MyCareer video and he is the Point Guard. He threw it to the shooting guard or SF I believe who took a step towards the baseline, at a defender and ripped it and missed. Had he stayed still he would've had a much easier shot.

It's great for the user. No one is saying it isn't, the problem is teammates you can't control or games where it's CPU vs CPU and they'll just step into a defender and then choose to shoot it.
