    Re: 2k15 vs 2k16

Good advice out here. I think I am going to wait then. There is something about 2k15, to me, that just plays damn near perfect, and this is before it got all the patches.

So don't mind if I do but it's calling me.

16 even tho the cpu is dumb as hell for your team.

The CPU overvalues its own draft picks and players, as has been stated, sign for way too little.

Both things are being looked at by the devs, but I doubt we get it fixed before patch #3 drops sometime in November (it has been stated by multiple devs that that's when the big patch hits).
I'm a MyGM guy myself, and I was pretty pleased with the game... until the off-season. It completely ruined my outlook on the game. The trades the AI makes are worse than ever. The contracts players are signing are way too low. The AI draft logic is HORRIBLE.

Those issues completely ruin the longevity of the mode, and as someone who doesn't play online and hates MyCareer, this game holds no appeal to me until that mystical patch is released - and let's face it, that could be a long time, or it could never happen. It's really disappointing considering how good the on-court game is and how much they touted improvements in those areas.

My game is currently sitting on eBay. If that patch is ever released, I may buy it again for cheap down the road.

One of the main reasons I don't do MyGM is because of that. I do 30-team control MyLeague's because that's the only way to make sure AI lunacy doesn't happen -- I've done it that way for nearly a decade. There's no such thing as good GM AI, it's just impossible to do IMO.

We'll see if 2K can solve it, but I don't know for sure if they will.
