Day 1 of the playoffs has come and gone in sim city hoops online franchise league. All of the round 1 games can be found in the owners twitch past broadcasts. Series resumes in earnest later today. Short question to you guys with more knowledge: I want to record my games too, but I fear that when i do this while playing online, there will be connection issues and the game itself might be lagging.
Is there a possibility to record the game on DVR and post it later on youtube or twitch?
I am on xbox one btw. Great thread really refreshing to watch play sim ball.

The remarkable parity displayed in what was our most active season yet has now led to our most competitive and thrilling playoffs in recent memory if not never. The common thread throughout a tension filled Tuesday was grit and grind. Although the grizz were upset by the upstart Lakers and coach truth, there was grit and grind shown in Philly okc and nawlins courtesy a road win by the splash brothers and coach silent.

Meanwhile in Miami, the heat saved their season in a tension filled OT thriller that was marred by a end-of-game late disco that saw the heat keep their season alive with a gutsy home win.

Back home in Indy, coach brandon and the pacers are riding high up 2-1 in what they honestly feel should be a 3-0 lead. The momentum clearly has shifted to the pacers as the raptors vow to be more agressive looking to even the series on the road.



Moving over to LA, clippers and coach var have put a strangle hold on the timber pups. Two devastating home losses to begin the series has the wolves coach seeking refuge and refusing to actively schedule the series. This the tide has turned in this series and the fishing boats will ride that tide to a sweep.

In OkC, the a controversial ending removed the thunder season off of life support. Said coach teebone after a soul crushing defeat....and i quote..."The ultimate 2k screwing . game tied with 2 sec left I inbounds ball and before I attempt a shot offensive foul called on ariza away from ball smh morrow to line for free throws" smh lol. The thunder are back in the series and are in a one game at a time mode looking to even the series.

The late night cap tilt between the upstart Celtics and coach Bradley...not to be confused with the real life coach Stevens..smh lol...failed to steal either road game in hotlanta. In a thriller that saw a premature gg thinking the game was in hand, coach Bradley underestimated the will and heart of the hawks as coach swt yelled "LET'S ****ING GOOO!" After a korver game winner...with the knowledge that he had snatched victory from defeat in an improbable finish to secure a 2-0 lead in the best of 7 and thus holding serve at home.

Over in Philly, the coach of year proved why he won the award in the gawt damn first place. Seriously, is there a coach in this lg that has done more with less than coach dom? With AI in the crowd and the rocky anthem blaring, coach dom rallied his young troops to win won for the gipper. The ol wily coach dialed up one last coaching gameplan in finally cracking the code of the most accomplished playoff and championship coach in the great ame.

Second only to the upset in Philly was the shocker at the grind house. With the Lakers vowing to make life hell for the top seed grizz in pre game chirping, coach truth jumped out to a commanding lead, reaching as much as 20 before an eventual disco put the grizz coach bigb out of his misery. The post game news conference out of Memphis was complaints about lag and delay even though it was his connect that dropped. Frustration nearly boiled Over as the Memphis coach threatened to quit the series in ensuing pms due to allegations of lag glitch game play smh lol. I understand that online gaming has some issues that come with the territory, but at the end of the day...everyone is responsible for making sure they're connect is solid if they wish to play in this lg.

And that caps a tremendous day of playoff basketball in the most competitive and active online franchise on xb1...thanks for tracking the most active and competitive online franchise on xb1.

Unfortunately you cannot record your game without simultaneously live streaming. The recordings are captured from the live streams so if your connect cannot handle a stream in the first place without the lag concerns then you're better off getting a capture card to record without broadcasting and worrying about lag even though, it's really non existent when you have a good Internet connection. You have to ask yourself if investing in a solid connect in order to stream and archive the recordings is a better option than buying a capture card.

While twitch is free of charge, my 30 man league will continue to use the hell out of it. It's provided the spectator mode that online league players have been craving for as long as 2k has had this amazing mode that brings together like minded competitive 2k ballers to form a community that can now be broadcast to the masses. All things considered, twitch and groupme apps have been the biggest boost to online leagues for as long as long time vets of the mode have played it.

The thing with twitch is determining what quality you want your recordings and streams to be in. For your connection speed. I would recommend using either the "recommended" resolution settings that adapts to your connection speed or you can manually set it to low medium and high quality. Then you can test each setting after setting up your streams to archive for viewing and reviewing after the fact to see if the quality is to your liking .
