Can someone explain what exactly is this update when you in the middle of a game. You have to go to the main screen to apply the update. I am on X1. Thank you

Not sure. Try unplugging it.

Why unplug it. It installed once I got to the main menu.

I don't know man. Everytime I call tech support that's what they tell me to do.

It may have something to do with rosters and jerseys. Just a guess.

Those are the adjustments that the dev team can make w/o a patch.

There's an entire thread on here called Shot percentage tweaks, where Beluba has been talking to the community & getting feedback on adjustments being made.

That update message you get is another round of those adjustments.

I see this a lot in the early morning before work. Think it was 2 days ago it popped up 3 or 4 times and I had to back out each time to main menu to get rid of it. It's annoying and we should have an option to disable it.

That update message you get is another round of those adjustments.

Plus other content like roster updates and new jerseys or shoes that get added. bc that screen pops up pretty often.

2K, please, make the Update Required banner transparent or allow us to dismiss it. It gets really distracting. I play 12 min quarters in MyLeague. Between work, my wife and son I probably finish half. But I always pick up where I left off and it sucks being in the middle of a great game having that banner in the lower left corner of the screen. It was the same thing last year. I get it. I'll update the game, just let me finish the one I'm currently playing in peace first.

Hate it. Then I'll update it and then start a game and it'll come back. Definitely thought this year they'll get rid of that. Just needs to pop up for a few seconds.

It is extremely annoying. Whenever I am playing an offline game of 2K16, I just sign out of the PSN network. It prevents that stupid message. They should just have the message fade away after a few seconds... it drove me nuts.

I'm confused. Every single time I start the game and open "my player" I get this message. Says to go to main screen to update. Nothing seems to get updated...am I supposed to be doing something or does it update automatically?
