Great list - love it.how about some real classic teams, not the 81 point Kobe team with Smush Parker and Kwame Brown
. Just put the 04 Lakers with Malone and Payton that went to the Finals. Its the same Kobe. We don't need MJ Wizards or Tracy McGrady Magic either. 1st, 2K just need to officially partner up with TNT and pay everyone on the staff which includes Barkley, Webber and Reggie. They get that done, we get 93 Suns, late 80s Philly Barkley, Webber Kings and atleast 2 Reggie Pacers (mid 90s, finals). The MJ45 Bulls team is already there, just release Rodman from the 95/96, add BJ Armstrong and decrease MJ's jumping stats (MJ45 couldn't jump). So here's my list:
76-77 Blazers (headband Walton, beat already existing 77 Sixers in Finals)
79-80 Celtics (Rookie Bird)
79-80 Lakers (Rookie Magic, Finals MVP)
82-83 Sixers (4-4-4, Moses, Dr. J, beat Lakers)
85-86 Rockets (Twin Towers of Sampson/Dream, lost vs already existing 86 Celtics in Finals)
89-90 Sixers (53-29, Barkley averaged 25/12)
92-93 Suns
94-95 Spurs (62-20, MVP David Robinson, lost to existing 94-95 Rockets in WCF)
94-95 Pacers
96-97 Heat (61-21, Zo, Hardaway)
96-97 Pistons (Grant Hill's best team)
98-99 Knicks (Houston, Sprewell, LJ, lost to existing Spurs)
99-00 Pacers (lost to existing 00 Lakers)

Theirs enough bulls teams already and id theirs some kinda technical limit on how many teams they can have they should remove all but 3 bulls teams if thats the case. I want the 00kings 78 kc kings 80 celtics 80 79 lakers 63 warriors 85 jazz 76 spurs

I'm going to go strictly with teams I was able to watch growing up
93-94 Warriors (Webber, Spree, Mullin, Gatling)
96-97 Kings (Not a good team at all but wanted a team with mitch on the kings)
01-02 Kings (webber, divac, bibby, christie, peja)
06-07 Warriors (baron davis, ellis, jason richardson, steven jackson etc)
Never saw this team play but 74-75 Warriors (rick barry led championship team)San Jose Sharks
San Francisco Giants

2k got lazy - the tendencies and signatures of the classic teams are totally messed up. It's taken me since launch day to edit my roster to try and fix them to the point where I 'm happy with how they play.
For example, T-mac and Yao's touch/shot tendencies were lower than some of the role players on the rockets squad!!!
Another example - Sprewell having the move set and signature shots of a big man.
2k really got lazy and dropped the ball with some of the new classic teams.
I don't mind new additions on top of what we have next year, but DAMN it's a long LONG process sorting out the rosters to get them to play the way they should.-----------------------------------------

-Iverson's brown hair
-No signature VC or Tmac dunks or fades (Monte Ellis has his 360 layup in the game, no excuse for missing these. Heck they HAD these in older 2ks)
-No signature triple threat/size ups for ANYBODY. Again they HAD these in older 2ks. Like Jordan's ball fake or one hand palms. Now everyone does the same
I mean the name of the game this year is just pound the ball inside for a foul or dunk anyways so who cares.

Some nice squads there but I wouldn't really class teams that are 3 - 5 years old as 'classic'.
Personally, teams from the late 70's, through the 80's 90's and early 2000's should be classed as classic. there should be some kind of cut of point. I wouldn't go any higher than '05 if it were up to me.
Hopefully 2k will give us more teams from the 80's and 90's for 2k17.-----------------------------------------
