Almost 54 here.

Started with Pong, but before video games, there was Photo-Electric Football with a light bulb in the square box and Bas-Ket, Real Basketball. with the spring loaded shots from 14 different areas on the court. lol That game was fun, though, a lot of man hours went into that game. I saw the first Bird vs Jordan on a computer.

The worst game was Magic Johnson basketball on the NES, pathetic.

I dont know if this discloses my age but I have played all of these games and Im sure I forgot a couple.

Me and my group of friends loved basketball way more than football. We shoveled snow and hooped with gloves on until we said eff it and just played without them for a better feel.

My first basketball game experience was TV sports basketball on the Amiga. For the time it had fantastic graphics and presentation, as per usual for good old Cinemaware. Now I'm feeling old.

I used to play this on the PC in the early 90's. Other than not having the NBA license, to me it was miles better than anything else I could find. I think it was the only game that had momentum leaps (you could jump and leap forward, get carried by the momentum). The default rosters had names like Mike Jordache in Chicago, if I remember.... My buddy had this game and I remember one night staying late to create full rosters for all teams (using pen and paper).

39 going on 40. Been playing video bball games from Double Dribble, Arch Rivals, NBA Jam, Lakers vs Celtics, Bulls vs Lakers, Bulls vs Blazers, NBA Live 95, Run N Gun, Coach K, and then the shift to 2k basketball.

As I was just a kid, having no basketball on TV here and the fact that I didn't know that the NBA even existed, I just edited my friends' names onto the rosters.

36 been playin since tha first 2k Dreamcast , Left Around 07-08 for live then got back in 2010 when live fell off like a bad bag!!!! Lls

24 and I go in and out on sport games. Buying the same series year out tends to make things stale for me

I would wager that most are between 12 and 18 based off MyPark and mics haha

Coach K on Genesis was pretty good. Basiclly seemed like a Live port to college ball. EA's NCAA basketball that followed on PS1 wasn't so great though.
