This post contributed nothing to the premise of this thread.
Blocks are nerfed and defense is non existent. Live ball physics = fast break animations when you press turbo, non-call kick balls, and elite ball handlers being stripped by Koufas and Kaman or losing the rock in situations that are not plausible nor have ever happened in NBA basketball.Comment

>Defense Non existent
>Elite Ball Handlers stripped by Centers
Also: Defense is there, I was able to play D last night by cutting off angles and using some different feathering techniques. Is defense different than release: Yes. Is it gone? No.
Some of the non kickball calls are called because you're not dribbling off their feet, my dude. Usually when I "Just lose the ball for no reason", it's because I tried to force my way through a guy with no attempt to actually go around him. If the balls knocked lose, it's usually a knee or elbow that hit it.
You need to adjust what you're doing, because the only thing that seems really nerfed is Chase downs...which seemed OP to begin withFemale Russell Westbrook.

Maybe both of my controllers are broken, but how in Sam hell do you sprint with the ball? Even pre patch, my 94 speed PG seems to run in mud when I hit the acceleration trigger, and get chased down by dudes with 80 speed who full court press me. I welcome full court pressing, cause I assume I'd be able to use my severe speed advantage, but that hasn't been the case, since every time I try to sprint, it feels like I'm pushing 900 lbs.Comment

4 Chan speak is the only way I properly convey my thoughts to part of this:

I've actually had lots of success I just won 2 in a row but it doesn't change the facts of my statements. Players run in mud and losing the ball happens far too often. It's not real basketball. You mean to tell me my non professional playin' *** can dribble a ball full speed after a rebound and weave in and out of traffic but NBa video game players, who are modeled after real life counterparts, cannot? Why? That's just the problem, you don't run through them but this game makes it seem as if you are. In actuality your cutting quickly which cannot happen here because your in mud and according yo 2k physics it's not possible
Yes, previously I would toast any defender in front of me, and weave through two others like they were standing still even though some of the moves used during this process should have caused me to lose the ball.
Now? I can get by one, and have to read where the others will go. Do I need a crossover? Is there enough room to left stick switch hands? No option for a Snatch back, should I spin move, Or post up for a second to protect the ball before proceeding?
Maybe I feel different because I was playing like this pre-patch, and didn't have to adjust my style as much as I had to learn the new timings and what I could get away with.
I find it funny that half the threads are "You can blow by anyone", and the other half are "You can't dribble anymore". It's somewhere in between. Get in the lab, understand the game is no longer holding your hand, and figure it out.Female Russell Westbrook.

You bums need to relearn the game. The changes the patch was the result of the incessant complaints of bums not learning to play in the first place.Comment

...but it's do able. The game is not bailing you out though, that's the difference. You can't dribble with a persons arm in the ball path in real life. The game now reflects that more so than it did.

Those "bums" you speak of simply play the game different than you. "Learn" the game to whose standards? They paid money and can "learn" to play whatever way they want. Parrot.Comment

Patch gameplay for those that love them some sim stats and in turn now people running through one another at an alarming rate, in 2015.
And because that was an easy fast break. Chris Pauls brain doesn't stop for seconds and communicate to his body telling it to run full speed, it just does.Comment
