They really need to fix draft classes. I simmed ahead 12 years and every point guard is averaging over 8 assist. Dish to open man is drastically to low for everyone except point guards. League leaders in assist were all point guards. Every team had players in the starting lineup averaging 0.0 or 0.1 assist. Ridiculous

Keep em coming guys
Sim Stats
Steals are capped at 2 for non PGs. PGs can exceed this number with ease despite ratings/tendencies.
Spoiler
Blocks are also not scaled after a certain point. A 70 in blocking usually averages the same amount as a 90+ (same tendencies).Comment

Re: The MyLeague/MyGM 'Fix-It List'
I've been complaining about draft classes for years as well. Most of this stuff has been mentioned but some of the issues I see are:
1. Too many "all around" guys at the top with garbage after that. Where are the 2nd round 3 point marksmen? The defensive specialist who has a raw offensive game? All the best three point shooters also have the best overall and the best passing, ball handling, etc. Simply not realistic.
2. I haven't simmed up for years yet but in past versions the generated rookes had ridiculously low shot tendencies, touches, and often, shooting skills. By year 8 or 9 the league was filled with guys playing the 2,3, and 4 averaging 6 and 7 assists a game (although this appears to be different this year), all shooting 38%. Team FG% would plummet until most teams struggled to break 40% as a team.
3. Too much emphasis on overall ratings (which is an issue with the 2k ratings for current players as well). There needs to be more respect for individual skills that will result in someone being drafted. There needs to be more individuality in the players. And in the current players, there should be more differentiation between top stars and role players. But 2k seems afraid to have someone who is a 50 overall in the rotation. I mentioned this in another thread, but it seems to be the same reason that basketball IQ DECLINES as player's age, even though in reality players that stick around get smarter. But making everything decline makes it easier for their overemphasis on overall ratings to matter for free agency, contracts, trades, and rotations.
It seems that for the most part the generated classes have just been random numbers for years. I hate to criticize 2k too much because I think the really do a fantastic job on so many things but you could hire myself or any number of OS guys for a week who could create pages and pages of generated rookies with realistic skill sets, physical attributes, and a variety of draft classes, some top heavy, some balanced, some lacking much of anything, etc.Comment

Re: The MyLeague/MyGM 'Fix-It List' - Practice Plays
I play MyLeague exclusively and am disappointed to see the "Practice Plays" option is only available from the main menu and not from within MyLeague itself, only giving you the option for a team scrimmage. Considering you're more likely to trade players and draft new ones via MyLeague, not having the option has meant I have to go to the main menu and create a roster matching my MyLeague roster and practice that way. It's OK for now but when I go through my next draft...... *shrug* Not sure how to get crisp with my team considering the complexities of these otherwise wonderful offensive systems.
Am I the only one who has noticed this lack of option - or worse than that, am I the only one who uses it?Comment

Re: The MyLeague/MyGM 'Fix-It List'
Comduklakis amen.
What is the point in have 80 years of MyGM/MyLeague if by years 15-20 the league is complete garbage without year to year user editing of draft classes?
Raw Pass First 2 Guards who can't shoot the 3 and aren't athletic. Those do not exist en mass. If you're 6'4-6'7 and you are a distributor that can't shoot NO NBA team is playing you at the 2Guard.
5'11 PG who has a 3point rating on par with the worst big men shooters in NBA history. Show me a 5'11 PG who has played in the NBA who can't hit an open 3. I dare you to find me one example.
Those 2 generated player types irk me the most and they are the most consistent.Comment

I would just like for them to say if they are going to fix the dish to open man tendency in draft classes. It ruins future years.Comment

I agree with a lot of what's said in here as well. Hopefully, the developers can make some adjustments before they completely move on to NBA2K17.Comment

Re: The MyLeague/MyGM 'Fix-It List'
Do you think, that team stats in MYGM/MYL will ever be fixed? I cannot stand those 144-134 results anymore. Tempo in simulated games is still way too high. Every single team stat is absolutely ridiculous. Realism is the most important thing to me for these offline modes.
Please fix it 2K!!!Comment

Re: The MyLeague/MyGM 'Fix-It List'
I actually thought the draft classes were great this year. I see plenty of individuality. I've seen stretch fours go top ten, I've seen defensive wing specialists go in the lottery, I've seen power forwards with a raw offensive game but great rebounding, interior defense, and perimeter defense go top 3 (think Tristan Thompson). I've picked up guys in the second round who are very athletic but raw offensively, and guys who are not athletic or tall but have an A+ outside shooting rating. I've seen a 5'9" point guard go top 2 because he was an insanely amazing outside shooter. Ive seen a non-athletic power forward who could shoot very well go top 10. I see non-athletic pass-first point guards go late first round.
In summary, I've gone through ten 14-game seasons I've seen every player type imaginable in the draft classes. Every player seems unique. The talent pool in my league seems so realistic.
In past games, the best players in the draft all had A+ athleticism and shooting. Not once have i seen a draft prospect like that yet. It's so refreshing. The top players all seem to have their pros and cons. They're unique and real. I have no complaints with draft classes this year.Comment

Re: The MyLeague/MyGM 'Fix-It List'
I don't know if it's possible to fix this year, but I would like to be able to edit the appearances of generated players in my league. It would cool to change hairstyles and facial hair every once in a while.
Or maybe make an ugly player slightly less ugly.Comment

Re: The MyLeague/MyGM 'Fix-It List'
This thread warrants an immediate attention. MyLeague is the only mode I play. My gripe is the fact that we can't play co-op along with other game play issues which is plaguing MyL and MyG. The aforementioned issues are something the developer should address in the next patch.Comment
