I don't hold it, always flick so I can be ready to shoot or dish. Are you saying I should also just tap turbo?

ok my bad. after i blow past the defender i realise i am still holding turbo.

when flicking the right stick to nonball hand the angle needs to be right. else, will get the shutter dribble. make sure continue holding the left stick pointing towards the basket.

Sorry, we couldn’t find that page

sometimes i end up doing behind the back dribble.

Sorry, we couldn’t find that page

i find that the first cross is key. i had the ball on the right hand. dribble back using left stick no turbo to bait. then hold turbo with left stick point towards non ball hand direction (creating the first cross). while holding left stick going forward with turbo, flick the right stick to the non ball hand again (second cross). boom ...

Sorry, we couldn’t find that page

repeating the move but this time i let go turbo after the first cross, then hold turbo again and flick the right stick.

tapping turbo is harder to pull it off. tried several times but still possible.

these moves are quite basic and easy to pull off once practised frequently at blacktop. i usually run pnr plays to help me free away from the defender. jerseymade moves .. i have no clue man. i'll just watch with admiration and then ... wow! i also like 24 moves. they need to be in the highlights thread man

Re: Anyone NOT struggling with dribble moves?

love this move, still not smooth enough. needs more practice.

        ball on right hand.
turbo and flick right stick to non ball hand (signature move).
once the defender move, turbo and point left stick towards baseline. release turbo.
the defender catches up. point left stick away from defender and tab the shoot button to create a step back.
        shoot it.

Sorry, we couldn’t find that page

i picked up this move from 2-headedmonster. love it.

            Great tips guys and demonstrations

If we all had a strong grip of these advanced dribbles and the dribble system itself: the moves would lose their appeal and prestige.

I personally appreciate the honor in making these discoveries and learning the system. It's the same with trying to succeed with elite shooters: it shouldn't be as simple as simply chucking up the ball and expecting a 90% success rate by virtue of ratings alone.

I notice most elite shooters this year have some quirks with their jumpers and same can be said for pulling off elite dribbles, layups, and dunks.

Re: Anyone NOT struggling with dribble moves?

This is one of my favorite combos online head to head on hof sim in my online league. Its the subtle spin size up followed by a behind the back chain to propel you forward; and with the defender back pedaling, you cross back over to the weak hand to finish with either a handedness layup or a euro step if you have one last chain in you. This game can feel like street fighter with the dribble chains combos, which makes it all the more satisfying when you master certain chains and combos to in essence create your own signature dribble packages lol.

The angle was perfect, it's a between the leg driving cross which looks beautiful and is extremely under-rated yet powerful. I rarely see other players use btl's consistently. I mastered them last year, and was able to do between the left (or right) leg to hesi and subsequemtly launch to btl crosses with ease. I do continue holding left stick towards the basket otherwise my player will stop moving lol.

                Here's an example

                <iframe src="https://vine.co/v/iapbMWKuIVL/embed/simple" frameborder="0" height="600" width="600"></iframe>**

Except this year I'm having difficulties learning how to between the left leg to hesi.

                                Alec Burks #FTW

1on1 Alec Burks vs Jimmy Butler

Watch my setup lunge that got Butler to turn his hips. This allowed me to dip the other way and take the path to the rim without much difficulty.

You can see by the HUD thst the original play was designed to be a quick mid range shot for Jrue Holiday who would be coming off of JV's screen.

FQIW, this is like the 3rd game winner for Burks in My Team challenges / domination.

We can get caught in the advanced moves but sometimes it's something as subtle as this that can help you beat a clutch defender in a clutch moment.

*This gameplay is from My Team mode Challenge - Superstar diffficulty.

Challenge was to face a squad of last season's award winners while I use a lineup of silver starters and bronze bench.
