Re: **The Official Patch 4 Request Thread**
Amen! Time for them to implement MLB: The Show's real time.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: **The Official Patch 4 Request Thread**
Player awareness is just dumb in this game. Open shooters refusing to stand in the appropriate position for an easy 3, guys doing a silly catch animation that takes them 4 ft off the line, and silly lob passes that basically taked to long and allows the defense to adjust. This game can be extremely frustrating.Comment

Re: **The Official Patch 4 Request Thread**
Sometimes it's gold for me and others it's useless. I'm 7'1 so maybe it works for smaller guys I'm defending but not the 7'3 guys? I'll have to keep an eye on this nowComment

Re: **The Official Patch 4 Request Thread**
The couch co-op controller bug NEEDS to be fixed. Players lose control of the game after a time out when there is more than one player in local co-op on one team.
This is literally game breaking. Some of us actually have friends that come over. Heh.
While you're at it, please fix the broken icon switching in the same situation when in local vs coop where two or more players are on one team and one player is on another (if not fixed already). This has been broken for literally years.Comment

Re: **The Official Patch 4 Request Thread**
I've been patient with the first couple patches but here's the gripes I've had since day 1 that I personally feel should be addressed.
1. CPU overpowering. I've adjusted to it but it makes gameplay really monotonous when you're punished for every mistake. The CPU always chooses correctly when sliding defensively. It's always got one more gear athletically and if they have time, the shot is going down. That doesn't even happen in real life. If you're going to punish us players for perfecting releases and saying "there's no such thing as a perfect release this year" the CPU shouldn't still be a demigod. And I play with Steph's jumper. The number of perfect release misses I have on wide open threes is just pure insanity. Then to watch Gary Harris go to the other end and finish a layup over three defenders after missing said wide open three is ridiculous. Maybe once a game. But not regularly. Have no idea how you guys came up with the idea of punishing people to be open.
2. "Guaranteed momentum shifts" if I'm obliterating a dude online all four quarters, let me do that. You guys are trying to make this competitive, I just want it to play like real basketball does. There's absolutely no way somebody who has proven they're not on the same level as me should be rewarded with me missing a wide open layup just because I'm up by 40. If I'm outplaying them for the duration of the game, my momentum and gameplay should be rewarded. Yet I can't even enjoy playing well because I know the shift is coming.
3. Turnover cheese. Fam. If there's a defender within 2 feet of me, I turn the ball over. But I have several instances per game where I do everything right and get called for a foul or the game warps the CPU past me.
4. It's 2015 yo. Why oh why is the passing so horrible? Every year 75% of my turnovers in MyCareer are because I read the defense and my MyPlayer makes the worst pass available. Directional passing can only help so much.
5. Warping to the ball.
If I get blocked, stripped or miss a shot, there's no chance for me to recover and my my players rating goes down at least one grade level because the CPU always warps immediately back into the play and grabs the ball before their animation finishes. Meanwhile, there's no animation. MyPlayer is just standing there. Not to mention the ball still warping through bodies and changing directions.
6. IQ is still pretty crazy. Players will leave a wide open space of the floor to cut to the crowded basket JUST AS I decide to make the pass.
Overall, being an actual ball player idk if my gripes are any different but I hope I'm not speaking alone when I say lets just make the game realistic. The feeling I got this year was that the real basketball folks could be separated from the video gamers. Well the video gamers still have the upper hand. maybe it's just unrealistic to expect otherwise...

Re: **The Official Patch 4 Request Thread**
Couple things I remembered after my last comment
7. What's up with all the hang ups prior to pass animations? Guys are only open a few seconds anyway. Another 10% of my turnovers are from the players not responding to the pass action.
8. Defense is just wonky. Again, it's something I've adjusted to and compensate for but it's extremely aggravating. You can barely guard anyone because the mechanics almost work against you. Then, animations get caught and the extra gear I mentioned earlier just make it worthless. I mean 20 seconds of defense for naught is frustrating for those of us that actually player the game. It wouldn't matter so much if the person guarding you didn't play all world caliber defensehttps://vimeo.com/148748015Comment

Oh yeah, another thing.. NBA2KTV is pretty dang hard to watch. The "Loading" thing is insane. I know I'm on Comcast and it's not very good, but a 10 minute video probably shouldn't take 4 hours to watch even on Low quality. Gotta patch a fix for that.Comment

Re: **The Official Patch 4 Request Thread**
On Xbox one about 70% of the time when loading into a Pro-Am game with my friends, at least one of us gets "waiting for opponent" countdown and then we have to all quit out over and over again until it works. Hopefully there is a fix for this.Comment
