I'm talking about pure scoring ability, scoring in all types of ways. Curry doesn't do that. It's all jumpers, which works really well for him, because he's the best shooter ever.

He's also shooting 60+% in the paint, with about 30% of his shots from there. He isn't just a shooter.

Basically, I'm trying to say that MJ could drop 50 by just isolating all game. I don't see Curry doing that. Yes he can hit off dribble threes, but so much of his scoring is due to his teams chemistry and how much they get him open.

That's a garbage argument. Using that logic, Kevin Durant is by far the best scorer ever and is easily a better scorer than Jordan.

Scoring in a limited number of ways (which Curry doesn't, but whatever) is only a negative if it actually limits your ability to score. If defenses can't stop your allegedly limited skillset, it's just as good as defenses not being able to stop a versatile skillset.

I couldn't care less if a player had literally only one move that they utilize in order to score. If they average 30 points on 68% true shooting after 57 games with that one move, they're having one of the best scoring seasons ever.

You're saying Curry isn't limited in his ways to score? So he's a great finisher huh?

              He's a tremendous finisher.

17th in total layups attempted (minimum 50 attempts), 6th in FG% on layups.

He can't go to the rack and finish through guys like Jordan, and even KD can. When's the last time you've seen curry get an and 1 slam? He's 6th in layup fg% because he's a very smart player, who knows his limitations.

I never said he's the finisher Durant or Jordan is. But he's a far better shooter than either of them, so that balances out.

He's still a great finisher, even though he's not one of the best ever.

Also he gets layups coming off of screens a lot, as opposed to just taking it to the bucket.

Don't discount Jordan's midrange. 3 ball, he blows Jordan out of the water. As far as KD, you seem to forget that he's also a very good shooter.

It's not like he's attempting uncontested layups. Like I said, he's not in the tier of best finishers at the rim ever, but he's also far from possessing a limited scoring skillset.

Durant can be a very good shooter all he wants. He's not in Curry's league. No one is now and no one has ever been.

Curry isn't as far ahead as you make him seem.

He is somewhat limited, I'm just saying, you're disrespecting Kevin Durant's jumper.
