Thisss, old gen was so fire with things like that and i would add one more thing. In MyCareer there is no boxscore for other games around the league, just plain stats are presented to us in league leaders, blocks, steals, rebs categories. So if Durant or Curry are able to lead league with let's say 31 or 32 ppg i'm not able to see their night to night performances and FG % in boxscores vs AI opponents. #OLDgenALLtheWAY

Yeah you can but its still too tedious. Also sometimes it doesn't give evough info player card or what. For example, your team could trade 2 people for another player and a top draft pick. The social media will just say "Breaking: Player A traded for Player B." So you can't see what else was in that deal.

NBA.com is definitely something that should be back. As well as being able to click on the social media posts and would take you to more details like it does on MyLeague and how it was last year.

No more forced/cheesey story/nick name. It was fun for one play through, but subsequent playthroughs I've been doing my best to ignore, "Freak" and skipping cutscenes.

4. No D-League in myplayer is big miss, if i get a D grade in one game or two games in a row they should send me to D-League.

How in the world u get a D grade?! Thats not possible

IMO, MyCareer doesn't need a storyline. Allowing us to play the games prior to getting drafted is enough. Doesn't even have to be licensed. It allows us to craft the story ourselves.

I'd like to see more CAP realistic faces and body types in the game right now the options are very limited and look very fake.

For breaking certain records and stuff I want to hear the commentators talk about it. Right now it shows up on the screen and says Milestone reached but that's it.

They need to add player improvements. Maybe they have but I simmed forward 6 years, Kobe still playing, Dirk still playing, attributes the exact same and then all rookies and such were all 76ish overall and had not improved in 6 years. This was annoying because I went to the 76ers and in 2023 they have a full starting lineup of me and 4 generated draft picks and one guy that was starting PG that got selected in 2017 was 76 overall and then he was 76 overall in 2023 despite being a first pick, he had no attribute changes in 6 years? Come on 2k.

Lebron was like 38 and still 95 overall playing for the lakers and then OKC won the NBA every single year with Durant MVP every time. They need to do little changes like make people decline, not temporarily like they do now with injuries. Kyrie got injured for 2 months, went down to a 81 overall, the second he recovered straight back up to 89.

If I become the big dog of the team like Kobe I should be able to pick and choose who stays and leaves. I was a PF and the 6ers traded Okafor for god only knows who so I have to play on a team that has no one of value? No thanks. Like LeBron going to the Lakers, imagine being on the Cavs for the reason you have LeBron and then they just trade him away without you being able to put influence in, like you should be notified about offers for teammates and if everyone splits then you are in the know and can split too.

I made another player, a SG, went to the clippers so I could have me, Paul, Blake and Jordan and was like yeah this is awesome. Low and behold mid way into my season and Jordan gets traded to Denver. I'm stuck with some absolute root at centre with a 72 overall and have no say in the matter. I then made a centre myself, went to the pelicans. Test simmed as I wanted to make an inside beast partnership with Davis. 2 years later Anthony Davis on the Knicks. So if I didn't sim to find this out I would have lost the reason I went to the Pelicans meaning I would have to trade as I have no way of asking for a player to come in to make a inside duo again with. SMH 2k

I'm sure this has been said already, but please let superstar players be SUPERSTARS!

Most of us go to specific teams to play with a specific player. Many of us create a player to compliment the likes of Curry, Durant, Harden, AD, but then when we arrive at the team they're on, they play nothing like how they're supposed too.

But if they're you're opponent forget it, they'll do everything just like they were supposed too. My brother plays with OKC, and all he does is complain about Durant and Westbrook and their stupid decision making. But I just played a game against them and Durant shot 11/15 in the first half as they ripped me and my Boston squad. Go figure...

I've always wanted to form a partnership with one of these superstars and really be a dynamic DUO. I want to be able to trust them with the ball rather than setting them up for every bucket but that's almost impossible. I want to be able to take an offensive possession off while these guys do some work. I'll get mine, and I can let them do their thing without calling every play, setting every screen or cutting back door to help them pad their assist count.

Let us choose 1 minute quarters again like in 2k11 it really helped if you wanted to get through a couple of games very fast. Got somewhere you have to go in a few minutes? Play a couple of games on 1 minute quarters.

Also let us sim games in the playoffs many times I've played on teams I don't want to play for and I just wanted to get through the season so I could hit free agency.

Speaking about the playoffs I'd like to see more post game press conferences.

Right now in 2k16 there aren't any in the playoffs it's dissapointing because you're in front of all the lights and cameras now and getting more attention in the playoffs.

I'd like to see Mock Drafts durring college so we can get a clearer picture of where we're projected to go.

Right now in between games it tells you a couple things but it isn't very accurate. This way we can decide if we want to stay another year or declare for the draft.

Thanks for info man ! It's very confusing i would rather have schedule where i can browse games that were played around the league with full stats and individual stats. The way it is now it's just too much complicated and messed up.

After the draft and if you survive the summer league and didn't get cut give us training camp to fight for a spot on the roster and minutes.
If you're a High pick or late 1st rounder your spot might be secure but if you're a 2nd rounder or undrafted you must try not to get cut or risk starting in the D-league.

So, im in the playoffs... finals actually and I realized, there was nothing on the floor saying playoff or finals. The uniforms only showed a gold symbol on the back during the finals and It really took a bit of the steam off the playoff. Anyways thats just something I just noticed...

1. As far as MyCareer taking a realistic next step. We could start with Minutes. Like I am tired of playing 48 minutes a game and I don't know why this problem has been consistent. On top of that, Asking out of blowout games should mean we sit out not SIM out. The coach should take us out in blowout any ole way. That has to be changed cause its been like that for a few seasons now. This year it was fixed momentarily then switched back at some point.

2. Story... I've always played "Career" modes in Madden and 2K, So its a given. But what put 2K over was the story elements. I'd be boring with just a bunch of stats to me. This years Spike lee joint was OK for me cause the fam looked like mines would. But I understand how others may feel. I think if Spike was givin more time to make it better he would have. But a 9 months, isn't enough to put a fully fleshed story into the game that would reflect all demographics. I don't know why 2K did it. Anyways, the story was far too linear and lacked choice.

I think the story needs to be longer, and reflect a real career. Lets look at Kobe. Kobe didn't do everything in his rookie season. He wasn't that good!.. He actually failed a lot. He got better in his 2nd season but not great... 3rd season and up he went. His 81 point game was like 7 years in! In MyCareer currently all the cutscenes and stuff are logjammed in the beginning. I remember in 2K14 we had the MJ flu game...In like our first season. I think the story should play out over time and not so immediate. More hoopla needs to be made of big accomplishments.

3. Updates. They must find a way to update teams. I don't know why custom rosters can't be used, because teams make trades in the game so, players aren't on the same teams thru-out. And often the roster the game ships with is outdated the day its released. We also should be able to edit the gear of our roster. Just a pet peeve of mine but we should be able too.

4. I underdig that I'm supposed to be the man but... Thats not real basketball. Me being player of the game every game isn't fun to me. Its a team game and so much emphasis on hero-ball makes it boring after a while. Your hustling to get a win and your teams playing like they just wanna be on a beach somewhere. I know this been spoken of here already so i'll leave it at that.

5. If Mycareer is going to be a take on the career of an NBA player then off court activities must be expanded. I like yvettes character, but I think it should be a choice there. We should also be able to hangout with WNBA players like we do with the legends and players currently. House shopping and stuff not just customizing the court. Maybe play on the "Ballers going Broke" angle and have the player find a balance between living too lavish and living smart.

Lastly, the whole sneaker thing must be redone. I like that we could buy sneakers and where them early, however the whole losing sneakers and them being way to expensive is old. I liked the idea of getting our own signature shoe, but the 2K models and options are dated and make u look like your wearing BoBo's especially now that scanned sneakers have arrived and look 100 times better then the canned versions. That system needs to be overhauled and the options need vast update to look like modern kicks.

How early did you start? When the game first came out, I think he was listed at 7'1". Now he's listed at 7'3"

So the game's updated rosters can be used in MyCareer? I didn't know that. And yeah I started very early but restarted a month later. I actually got midway thru the second year and had to start over.
