I believe a number of criteria were involved that determine the size of your boost.

This is sketchy but I'm thinking:

A) Average teammate grade
B) Average wins per day or week or average win percentage for a given "grind" period

I mostly get good grades, so I've got A covered, but relatively I haven't played that much (less than 1500 games in total), so I guess that's where I've fallen down.

I reached L3 last year, and I thought I'd get a nice little push into L2 with the boost, which would encourage me to grind to L3 again. But now I just can't be bothered knowing how many games I'll need to play to get there.

Ronnie also said it would be "significant", he didn't say it would be "significant if".

Luckily for me I started playing park regularly in February and just wanted to grind to legend 1. I'm half way thanks to the boost and will probably play less when I get there.

I just want to see my homies with their mascots so I hope they can grind for good time during the Spring and hopefully be "boosted" into L3 by the Summer

Just loaded it up and checked and I'm 982/396. That's actually more games than I thought I'd played.

I'm really conflicted this year, it's nowhere near as much fun as 14/15. All my regular dudes aren't around as much so I'm pretty much exclusively playing with randoms, and the thought of playing another 1000 games of this to get the mascot just has no appeal for me.

I've just started an outside center career, and was drafted 2nd to the lakers. All this Kobe love has given me the idea to focus on this to try and get him his 6th ring. Started my 2nd full season really well 5/5 on HoF sim, so I'm probably going to leave park alone now unless someone off my friends list turns up.

Too much grind, not enough fun. Sounds like work not a game!

Ronnie said this would be the last boost of the year.

Yeah it's not so much of fun for me either. Haven't played 2k14 but on 2k15 I was trying to grind for L3 but was having so much fun at the same time. Even after all of the bs. Me and my friends would get an empty park and run for hours.

I still don't know why I enjoyed '15 much more than this game. Obviously gameplay wise '16 is better but what made '15 more fun to play.

And they wonder why people keep asking for a rep boost. 8,000+ games in 4-5 months to get L5 is ridiculous!!!

Ι reached L1 with 915 games (556 wins) however I remember getting a boost sometime from all star 2 to 3

My First game of park today, center kept leaving my sf open yet every shot was on the line and I was bricking. Guaranteed if I leave a outside center open he makes his 3s 90% of the time. 2k really made sf's have inconsistent shooting it's not even funny.

Nah, my SF is my best shooter and he's got 80 on 3s right now... try a different jumper and timing

SFs can shoot just as well as any other build

Not hating on you but they need to change this.

7 footers shouldn't be able to guard smaller quicker guards on the perimeter, or be able to stay with them step for step in transition.

Then guards shouldnt be able to strip the ball every time when Shaq 3.0 backs you down.

There is nothing a guard can do to a 7'+ center down low... not block not strip nothing... well very little anyway.

Played some park earlier this morning. I went into the 2k store to change my clothes, and as soon as i back out of the menu I had a squad invite from a random legend 1 guy. I accepted it thinking, better this guy than some rookie 1 (I'm only allstar 1). He sent me a party invite and we hopped on a 3's court and waited for another person. I decided to join the party when the game started and this dude went into full blown coach mode on me. He was like "Vibe I'm going to need you to set the screen and roll off of it every time". "When you get the ball in the paint, pump fake twice and pass the ball back to me. "I've got the best defense on this game so don't worry about ever guarding my guy". "Vibe cut... cut cut cut cut, now switch with me, now run to the paint, post him up, pass it back". I told him no disrespect, but please shut the hell up and he quit right after. I just love the park.
