Played like 10 games tonight, feels like the shooting got turned back down

It definitely did and it seems like and then some. The mid range really took a hit when it was fine. It was just the 3pters.

I just don't understand what Mike is doing man. He changed the shooting like 2-3 times in like 1-2 weeks. I wish he'd say when he's changing something and also stick to something ASAP.

Now its better bec before all tryed to get green from corner now i hope more trying to get to the basket bec its really little harder to hit now.. It's more like basketball now

Dribble pull up 3's have been nerfed. Spot ups and mids are still good money though. I honestly wish 2k would stop messing with the shooting. It's ridiculous.

I'm just happy they turned it back down the 3s. Before everyone was hitting so easy and they tried to shoot all the time. Now i think 2 times if i shoot or dunk and i think i'm not alone. Before it was not more basketball lol.. All going for 3s lol

No more greens from 3pt and its quite rare from mid too (outside sf 85 3pt, 88 mid). Few days ogo it was green 3pt releases all day, really glad its nerfed.

However contested/semi contested shots that opponents can make are incredibly annoying. With the inconsistency of wide open spot up shots you'd think its nearly impossible to see fully contested ones going in, but i rarely have a game without my match up or someone from opponents hitting one with great contest. Its like they only nerfed wide open shots so a team forcing semi contested shots could stay close to someone taking much better looks entire game. Bunch of times so happened that opponents from ballers stay close to us entire game by making contested mids while we stay inconsistent taking wide open shots.

I've noticed same thing happens in pro am sometime, especially frustrating in close game. Its like the game fails to recognise that the shot is completely contested sometimes

The park is absolutely ridiculous now. It's now all about which team can make the most 3pointers!!!!!!!!!! No matter how great tight defense you even play, the 3 will still go in!!!!!!! Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im sure many kids are frustraded now .. But i think nba2k want to be the most realistic game ever and thats the way why this franchise is so succesfull. I asked some guys and they don't like it. They told me .. "Its just a game not real basketball" . LOL

Yup shooting was changed again. I did not get not one green from three out all the 10 games I played in the park. I got one green from midrange at the top of the key. Everything was mostly on the line. It's cool I guess most people are back to going inside or thinking shooting isn't nerfed and jacking threes only lmao.

Although I did get greens on superstar in the corner in my court.

Ok I played a good 9 games 4v4 and 7 on 2s... shooting feels weaker off the dribble but is more reliable spot up (compared to yesterday) lol

Poor shooters clank and are noticeably not as sure handed (I like this) - it's no longer where you can trust anyone on an open 3 but reliable shooters are also more noticeably sure handed - not gaurantee green reliable but consistent and clutch still.

Mids felt good on 2s for both me and my teammate but I don't know about 3s and 4s.

Overall, I like this feel of the game better than yesterday and more recent days between last Saturday till Thursday... the game is no longer one dimensional but much more balanced and I hope it can stay this way for coming weeks or months!

I haven't checked into My Career but there are so many ways to score in MC as a perimeter player that I'm not concerned there.

My take on this and it can as an epiphany last night lol: in real life these hug tight contests would generally be shooting fouls but since game doesn't register it as such your limb basically becomes ghost.

Regarding the above: I'm starting to realize it's best to give some distance when using thst right stick contest because the auto intense D contest is slow to trigger reaction wise. Reaction wise: the shooter is already at the top his release by the time your cpu AI decides to assist you with a contest.

It's also better in my experience to contest right or left opposed to up or down *being on absolute or camera relative will influence your judgment here but the theory holds up for me that it's more effective to contest right or left versus straight up down on the stick.

Mike (Beluba) - please keep these numbers in focus for at least a week before even considering changes again.

Use this period to judge the results over a 7 day span and judge the community feedback - please hold off on these knee jerk reactions.

I understand the first experience wss too intense on green fever and you had to calm it down. Things are now calm and much more balanced. It's good to see moving shots cannot be relied on more effectively or as effectively as standing shots. It's also good to see the corner is not "too money" and the wing and top 3s are also not as reliable as the corner.

This balance in the environment allows teams to be more expansive and liberal with their options - also encourages more ball movement and team reliance opposed to Hero ball!

I don't think it's necessarily the community feedback, I wouldn't be surprised if 2K has statistics of every single shot attempted/made on Park and that's how they determine when to attempt to make tweaks.

Finished 40-4 on 2s with two 6'6" SG - my teammate and I were very satisfied with our makes from 3 and mid. I was personally still able to hit my off the dribble shots quite comfortably.

Played a Pro Am game and my team shot very well in there.

I have meter off so I don't know the rate of greens but my rate of makes was just fine. My 2s teammate was reporting consistent greens each game, about 2 a game from 3.

My 3 is 83 with boost and mid is 85 with boost. I just stay consistent with my release point and I feel the rewards are justified.

Not sure what everyone is talking about - I guess I am seeing less greens from the 3 now. But my outside center is still goin 2/3 or 3/4 from the 3pt line.

Mind you I stopped playing him a few months back and made an inside C because I found it so hard to hit them consistently beforehand.
