    2k15 vs 2k16......

No, this is not a rant about, how 2k15 is better because its easier to cheat the system like most low life YouTubers who teach exploits, then blame everyone else, instead of themselves.... This is just straight comparison and I'd like to hear your views on this. P.S its kinda long, if you don't wanna read. Just give your opinion.

MyCareer: 2k15 wins, no cheesy storylines (Although terrible voiceovers) , the story branches out more than 15 games. Your MyPlayer actually looks like he works out, you can choose answers, endorsements make sense....

MyPlayer/Graphics/Clothing: For some reason in my opinion, your MyPlayer in 2k15 looks better than in 2k16, even if you keep the formula. The clothes in 2k15 were TRIPLE the clothes we got in 2k16. (exaggerated number) The clothes even looked better, equipment even looked better. The fact that in 2k15 Jordan/Adidas commercial they have you wear 20 outfits that aren't even accessible is ridiculous.

MyPark: Tie. The 2k15 park was a cheese fest, but it was fun, no fouls, better looking parks, better introductions, join friends from menu. But, 2k16 park is good too. Can't really point out why but, I like it. Just hate the fact that everything is a grind. I have a record of 4,728- 1,061, mostly good grades/ performances but still an L1 at barely 50%.

MyTeam: Don't really play it, but both were good.

Gameplay: Tie. 2k15 was pretty good, 2k16 was good as well. I feel like if 2k mixed and matched things from both games, plus Last Gen. It will be the best of the Current Gen.

AI: 2K always messes this up, Lebron should be plowing through Raul Neto, not getting matched. Strength only works in the post and poor defenders mirror your every move.

Graphics: 2k16 slightly, the body types and the emotion/presentation and even the rim is better.

Overall: (without cheese, Demis, or whatever) Its a hard choice, 2k15 is fun, but 2k16 is also fun.

Record don't mean much to be legend 3 in 2k15,it's all about Win streaks in the rec, I made legend 3 with less than 1000 games played. I super agree the park/rec/stage was super fun even with all the cheese because it's what you expect from a park style of play which suppose to be fast. My team seem to get worse and worse each year with the money scheme they continue to try to pump out users.

I hit L3 in 2k15, 2k16 is the problem. Bar been stuck since January.

2k15 wins it for me. Dribbling was perfect! Was more responsive, Directional wasnt broken, rotating was easier as they didn't have the auto assist magnet effect. Well 2k15 had less magnets in general. And all the frustrating unintentional things that happened weren't as bad on 2k15. I love how they cut cheese on the park this year though. 2k16 could be the greatest ever if they fixed those things

I didn't play 2k15 anywhere as much after the 'Hit every shot' patch dropped.

My play has actually increased since 2k16's last patch....so it's 2k16 by a landslide

52 days of gameplay compared to 14 days for 2k16? Everyone I know has stopped playing the game as often. There are just way to many issues which make you feel as if you're not actually in control.

2k15 post patch 4 was one of the worst sim basketball games in history.

As often as I complain & rage at 2k16, I'll take 2k16 for gameplay, and it's not even close.

I catch 2k15 on the PS broadcast sometimes.....every game is 'whoever has the ball last wins'

They can have that all day long....also drove me crazy that I couldn't defend the rim.

Not to say it was a 2K12 type disaster or anything, just really wasn't a fan of the last adjustments

Great question. I play NBA 2K games for the sim basketball, so while I play a lot of 2K16 these days (especially after patch 6), I still like 2K15 a lot.

I agree that 2K15's MyCareer is, on balance, better than 2K16's. To be brutal about it, I'd go further and say the storyline from NBA 09: The Inside's The Life on last-gen was better than the storyline in 2K16's MyCareer on current-gen consoles.

I do like how 2K16's MyCareer had your MyPlayer do high school and especially college games, but I hated how the quarter lengths for these games were, like, two minutes or whatever. That shizzle sometimes would make me dust off my copy of College Hoops 2K8 or NCAA Basketball 10 in protest and play some games on my PS3, haha.

On gameplay for sim basketball, NBA 2K16 with patch 6 beats NBA 2K15 when you add everything up. 2K16 now yields realistic scores and other states (except for fouls) when I play human-vs-human or human-vs-cpu on sim with 12-minute quarters. I like how I can play 2K16 with its simulation sliders and not get pissed off at the stats. To get a more realistic frequency of fouls, I basically now max out all the foul sliders.

Without adjustments to sliders, though, I'll take 2K16's AI over 2K15's AI any day. But last year I was able to produce real improvements to 2K15's AI and gameplay by making some drastic edits to sliders.

That said, 2K15 still is very playable, and has its virtues. I like how 2K15 doesn't magnetically pull players on defense the way 2K16 sometimes does.

For me, the even bigger takeaway is how I can play almost any old 2K game on PS3 or PS4, and still enjoy playing it on some level. I really can't say the same about old NBA Live games on PS3 or PS4, with the exception of PS3's NBA Live 10, the FIBA mode for which is still pretty fun.

                      Re: 2k15 vs 2k16......

15 easily. The main thing i look for in my nba game is that the player i'm controlling does exactly what i input WHEN i input. I can't deal with the unresponsiveness, sluggishness, input lag, whatever you want to call it.

15, after all the patches, was on par with last gen classics like 13 and 14 when it came to crisp, responsive controls. 16 however is one of the, if not THE, most sluggish 2k game i've ever played.

The only things that i remember really bothered me about 15 were the post fade and the baseline cheese. And of course getting sucked into screens for no reason.

The shooting (patch 4) issue imo was overblown. Yes, on low difficulties it was horrendous, no doubt about it. However, in the 1st and 2nd seed of myteam which i think was on superstar i had zero issues with it. I usually held my opponent to about 20-30% from deep thanks to proper close outs most of the time, i always felt that was an appropriate percentage. Hell, in games where my opponent played bad enough defense allowing me wide open uncontested shots all game, ranging from B+ to A+ ratings, i'd shoot around 50%. I don't think that's completely over the top when using guys with 85+ 3pt rating.

Don't get me wrong, like i said i agree 15 was damn near unplayable on my secondary account where i was in the lower seeds BUT on that superstar difficulty it was one of the better 2k experiences i've had, apart from the post fade and baseline cheese obviously.

The only thing that people can knock 2K15 for, is the patch 4 shooting. I went there yesterday with a character with 0 upgrades and shot 4/7 from 3. Otherwise, its a good game. Cheesers were beatable. Most people here like sim gameplay. 2k15 park was arcade in every aspect.

Patch 4 2k15 is one of the worst basketball games ever...I put it up there with 2k12-2k13 level of garbage. I can't even remember what 2K15 looked like before the patches ruined it so I can't even form an opinion.

2K15 was a terrible game in my opinion. I played it a ton (not as much as 16) but overall the online gameplay was a joke. The light feel and dribbling was nice, but EVERY game was a cheesefest. I feel like people forgot about Demigods? And even if that was never a thing, 7 foot SF's, or even 7'3 centers could do everything a 6 foot PG could do. No versatility to online play. I played all the way up until 2k16, but overall it was an aggravating experience to say the least...

Ps: I just think its the mindset of the community needs fixed. There should never be such an uproar over one move/exploit being taken out of the game like the speed boosting has caused.
