Durant wants to be listed as 6'9 but that's not a true representation of his height

Maybe 2k should just make his in game representation be 6'11 but list him as 6'9?

KD has already explained that he likes to be listed at 6'9 because any taller and teams like to peg you as a big man. He literally said "6'9 Small Forward is the sweat spot". In real life KD is 6'11+ .

Good point and I take that into account. The shoes they're wearing still give them some height boost unless they're feet are sinking into them. But I do know that both Demarcus and DeAndre are commonly known to be 6'11" while Durant himself said he was 6'11". Durant's height is a big mystery, but for him to be taller than Demarcus in the exact same shoes does indicate he's taller in shoes.

However, I get your point. Shoes vary in a lot. They can make a player taller or even shorter depending on the shoe. For all we know, they could be shorter than they normally are in that picture, but we'll never know unless we somehow walked up to all three of them with a tape measure or a bunch of rulers to measure their heights. It's still a mystery regardless, but the main point to get across is that Durant should be taller in 2K only if 2K implements said height adjustments for him and others.

Lol. For starters, they're all wearing the same shoe, which takes away any kind of "boost" as it's all relative. Most importantly though, how in the world would a shoe make you shorter?

You know, I just realized something. When I said that part about a shoe making a person shorter, I confused it with this article I had read about some players' wingspans compared to their listed heights.

Disregard my ******* post for the most part. But one thing I do know (and it's obvious already) is that many players have inaccurate heights in 2K, not just KD. He's 6'11" listed at 6'9" as previously stated, but another case in question comes to Kevin Garnett who's actually like 7'1". Which is why I was so confused as to whether 2K uses height with shoes for their heights. Huge mistake on my part.

KD would look like a monster in game with his real height because 2K has him thick looking. Also raising him even higher will spike his block numbers.

I wish I had the opportunity to be 6'11/7' and complain that I wanna be shorter lol. Come on KD.

And K Love is 6'7, 6'8 in shoes...almost every ball player is 2 inches shorter than what they say lol
