Will the season still be 82 games, might be a dumb question.

We don't know yet, but I think it'll stay at 82 if you add expansion teams.

Will "Relocation" still be an option? I want to relocate the Nets back to Jersey, not make another Franchise from scratch. also, get rid of"East Rutherford" and just make it say "New Jersey"

MyGM is my favorite mode in the nba 2k games. I've loved a lot of the cool new features and playing through seasons is a bunch of fun. I like this new feature as well because of the element it will add right off the bat in running a new team, however two key things are necessary for any version of my gm to work. Better Gameplay and Quicker Simulation.

I wouldnt mind grinding through 82 game seasons in MyGM if the gameplay was actually fun, but after a few seasons when the league is filled with non-real nba players the sliders and mechanics of the game start failing hard and the games become a nuisance. This is a fundamental problem that affects multiple game modes anyway, it is also the hardest to resolve so i get it. Stil....

So the alternative would be a quick method of simulating. The various simulation options are all very cool features that i feel took a great deal of work, but at the end of the day sometimes i just want to bulk simulate a season or two just to get to a certain year. A quick way to do that might just be a quick prompt that asks if you would like to continue to the next season (at the end of the offseason) and you can select to either go straight to the next season or jump straight to the next offseason simulating player progression, injuries, and game results. This is useful for those of us who are more interested in each seasons offseason leading up to the point where all the current nba players are retired (or on the brink of) so we can truly live through more original storylines and concepts in the nba.

Looks like from the Forbes article that we will have complete control to rebrand/relocate every team, not just 3 like last year. Bravo 2k..possibilities are endless..Let the college 2k, Olympics, and retro unite..what a year this will be.

i agree, one thing that i always noticed with mygm is that attendance is always 100% no matter what, arenas looked pack, i think there should be more factors that determine it

Maybe the NBA want it to be like that in the game? I know people wanted officials to get offsides wrong occasionally in Fifa but the authority didn't want that to be the image portrayed.

I figured Las Vegas and Seattle would have pre-set teams for sure. Interesting. Was hoping to use default teams for the commentary.

Same - Seattle maybe a sore one. If the NBA ever went to 32 I'd think it would be Seattle and Las Vegas (or a western Canadian team).

Question - can we only add teams or can we subtract? Meaning can I do a mode with 24 or 26 teams if I want to?

That would be great for the retro seasons - prior to a 30 team league.

Yup you can download the whole "team design" which includes the uniforms, court and logos.

For you guys wondering, you can fully edit, customize, rebrand EVERY team this year, not just 3.

I really hope there is a stand-alone create-a-team mode now that there is no limitation to the amount of teams that can be customized. I assumed that's why it wasn't in the game last year.

Hopefully. I mean it would make sense. We basically have a fully fledged create a team feature when it comes to the expansion process in MyLeague.

I assume in MyGM we can start as the GM of an expansion team and build it up. I dont know how that would work out because you wouldnt play games for the first season so would your team start play in the 2017-2018 season? Interested to see how that would work.
