Exactly!!! I play with Shaq a lot. But once they actually scanned the old Shaq. It was really bad. They should just used that face scan on the Heat Shaq. And leave the young Shaq alone smh.

I'm not going to lie, I don't understand why people are so hung up on this stuff. I agree that there are many inaccuracies. But I just don't think it's THAT big of a deal.

They are working on so many other different modes for so many other different parts of the game. You don't see the players' faces that often and I'm not staring at a dudes accessories all game long.

      Again, that's just me.

We all enjoy different facets of the game. Legends are huge to some people. So much so that they probably wouldn't purchase the game if the were not included. It's universally acknowledged that 2K does an awesome job. Still, there are many areas that can be improved upon. That's all. They could rip The Park out tomorrow and I wouldn't bat an eye. It's not my thing. But I still support the people who love that mode voicing whatever issue they have in the hope 2K sees and addresses it.

I think compared to what we have now, they're a massive improvement, personally.

The T-Mac image I posted earlier is also a good example:

Oh man that T-Mac model is amazing I hate playing as that Rockets team because he looks bad.

Exactly. Without Legends, I wouldn't buy the game.

No excuses as to why they can't have amazing models for the legends in the current gen. Some one send this to 2k make their life easy, perfect for the Orlando Magic Shaq.

14 was decent at next gen launch, check out 14 again and you'll probably agree, the faces looked pretty good. However..., something in 15 went horribly wrong, and the classic legends got horribly bad face scans. I remember seeing Joe Dumars in 15 and it looked like his face got ran over by a steam roller in New York. Jordan? Don't get me started how bad he looked. 14 was a good switchover from the old gen systems, but they either got lazy with 15 or just didn't care. 16 was slightly better.

And I can't stress enough the importance of signature animations for the legends.

Someone earlier made a point about how you don't see their faces often. Which is true. The subpar faces would be softened if they moved more like their real life counterpart (at the time) from whichever cam players play with.

Cyber faces take them so far. Signature animations. Crucial to taking the legends the rest of the way.

We can use the legends online so I wouldn't give them that excuse lol

Animations is definitely where the legends got screwed over the hardest. Even something as fundamental as dribble moves are generic despite them having several gold dribble badges.

Tim Hardaway has the same size-up dribble / cross as Randy Foye and I don't even think TMac has a size-up equipped despite having the gold badge for it. But hey at least Shaq has his own hook shot

Size ups and dribble moves are easily fixed, we can do that ourselves - I'd just prefer more individuality to the classic players.

Have NO idea why they removed MJ's one handed ball fake, or his classic runner 'The Move' - little details like this made players stand out. Same for the Dream - they removed his dream shake from 2k12 - why???

Tendencies & attributes are also messed up in this game - I went in to edit Sprewell and he had EVERYTHING in his signature section set to BIG MAN presets - from his shots to his layups and dunks - not sure what 2k are thinking?

I think word of mouth is spreading about this stuff, there's been TONS of talk regarding the issues with legends this year, hopefully 2k are listening......

I think it may be a case of not getting these things back in (rather than leaving them out). Since the move up to gen 4 consoles the game was re-build completely. And I feel (hope) they just haven't gotten around to polishing the legends off yet......

If what people are saying is true (2K are being quiet because they haven't got much to talk about this year), then maybe they had lots of time to polish the stuff that needed it. Faces, signature stuff etc. etc.

A whole tonne of speculation in this post though....

I agree, I just bring up the dribble move issue because I assume it can be easily fixed via a roster update for the online folk. We can fix it offline but online gets left in the dust lol.

Maybe not TMac, but Tim Hardaway should definitely have his own individual signature dribble moves

                                Most DEFINITELY dude.

Players with unique, go to/famous moves should have that reflected in game. 2k claim they're all about signature style - well, let's see it then, people!
