Equally, I wish there was a way to have a squad points system, so for example.

Pro 2pt
As 3pt
L 5pt

And your squad can consist of no more than 10pts, so you can get 2 l's playing together, but then you'd need a rookie to make up the squad. Would just help the park achieve some balance.

What? So u basically want that guys who like play with each other cant do anymore unless one or two off them constantly resets?

Its already highly annyoing that I cant play with all the guys I met over the years cause of the three parks and now u wanna add another barrier?

Yeah, the displayed ranking system has it flaws and I even wouldnt mind seeing it go completely, but ur solution isnt any better.

It was just a suggestion dude, to try and get more games happening, and more balance at the same time. Seeing 3 legends taking the pee out of rookie/pro fodder all day long isn't good for the mode, and neither is people giving up 6 game win streaks to avoid playing 3 legends.

Primarily, I'm against the ranking system in it's entirety. 2k14's positions and ovr display was good enough.

I wish they would just do it like live with the pro am just allow my park moves bc hey it's still street all if no NBA teams are around for the most part. No affiliation. No special boosts for an affiliation. No specific park for an affiliation bc ppl mostly just end up playing where they are bc of the long loading times. Just do it like live and add more parks and let it randomly go to one like maps on shooter games. It would help to add a soundtrack of just INSTRUMENTALS also. Nobody wants to hear Ariana grande While playing basketball and if you do.......u need help.

It was just a suggestion dude, to try and get more games happening, and more balance at the same time. Seeing 3 legends taking the pee out of rookie/pro fodder all day long isn't good for the mode, and neither is people giving up 6 game win streaks to avoid playing 3 legends.

Yeah, I liked 2K14s display more too.
It would also help to have different parks for differnt overalls, so let the guys till 70 ovr or so only be able to join those kind of parks.
It would still not be perfect cause there would be another barrier added to hinder to play with each other but it could help them get used to the park and get some experience.

I agree, right now its not well executed, it also at a point where even legend teams leave and prefer to beat them rooks then actually playing competitive games.

They wont get rid of the leveling tho, its what people make to grind hard...

Instead of having to stand idle doing absolutely nothing why doesn't 2k simply allow the user to mark his "next" spot with his/her name (you can only mark one "next" spot) and have a 1 on 1 match up or 2 on 2 matchup or a game of horse that doesn't count directly on the practice court.

Some sort of queue would be ideal... or even letting us generate courts based on what everyone wants to play. So if I'm "Looking for 4v4" a 4v4 court is now available and everyone else who is looking for one will get sent to it.

Either that or making a giant MyCourt that works as a lobby... with a Door to each type of court (1v1, 2v2, Pro-Am, All Star Team Up, etc). You meet up with people in the MyCourt Lobby (and can shoot/dribble/dunk as you wait) and then join the court to load the game.


Only thing is - they aren't going to change it very much, so I'm trying to think of small changes that can help their weird park system.

While we're at it: Flashy Alley Oops, and Ooping out of an oop would be interesting additions to park mode (And in general).

Make the other team forfeit if they all drop like in pro am.

I think FG% is a good one, but not all 2k jumpshots are created equally unfortunately for the 3pt%. Park is already too much of a 3pt shoot out at times.

I'd also like to see the removal of the ranking icons. I'm so tired of seeing people jump off winning streaks just because a legend is on got next. It's really frustrating to wait for 10 mins to then have teams exit en masse.

This! Alley oops this year killing me. :/ Nobody does em anymore.

I think it's just the lack of flashiness in the park this year that's killing it for me too.

One thing I liked about last year was during the MyPark championship whenever you'd load into a park that on the park logo it's say something like "Sunset was here", or rivet etc. Really small detail but it was cool

Also I dont really like how every park looks this year. Last years or hell 2k14s parks look better.

maybe add an incentive for beating Legends or All-Stars or just higher ranked players towards your rep.

that way if you're trying to rank up you don't avoid competition, you seek it out

That's a good idea bro. 2K definitely should give you more rep for beating higher ranked players. But of course the most against legends.

I don't know think it's already in the game (heard it was) but what do you think about losing rep for losing a lot or against lower ranks? Because how it's setup now it's all about games played for the most part. It's some straight bums that's legends but lose a lot.

What MyPark is now is nothing close to what I envisioned. It's a lot of things they could improve on probably most important thing to me is the difficulty this mode is on you see some pretty crazy things happening. But I like how the Rep system is set up.

Please no. This is a horrible idea.

For example; I play NBA 2K MyPark with my two friends, that's what we do online, no other game mode within the game. So you're saying that when one of us hits legend we can't play as a three anymore, but we have to have some low level person who doesn't play properly, doesn't bother defending their man etc. No thanks.

Why not show us the actual number after the game?

In most games (FPS especially), they tell you a ton of stats... including how much "rep" you earned (your "Score" basically).

Stats would make stuff way less boring... It'd be fun to know that I scored higher than the guy I was guarding or that I had the highest score in the match. It wouldn't take very long to code this.
