Basically 2k is "starving" us and these screenshots are just glimpses of what's on the menu. And people are sitting here salivating like "I'm hungry i want to eat!". And then by the time they release that first video and we finally get to "eat" people are going to be losing there mind like it was the greatest thing they ever had...or saw.

Watch the video because it's hilarious, way more inappropriate than I'm allowed to discuss here, but quite applicable to 2Ks marketing strategy. You can also think of 2k as a woman. It'll make sense of you watch the clip.

I think it's an early build pic. You can see where the right hand meets his forearm. They probably are trying to show off the face and lightning more than anything. I have a sneaky suspicion that 2k will have all the players thinned out when game is officially released. I could be completely wrong idk

If you look at the 2k16 screenshot of Kyrie that lagoa posted you will notice that Lebron and whoever else is in the background have different sized legs so it's more a matter of what body model was used, which is touched on in this thread (there is a gif of the 7 different body types in 2k).

This is where a differ from some people on this site. How can you flat out call the art team lazy when you have no idea the amount of work they actually put into the game? It's easy to look at two comparison shots and point out what is noticeably changed and what's not but how can you judge the amount of time and effort put into the work? Especially just based on a couple screenshots.

As far as I know none of us actually work on this game so who knows what goes on behind the scenes. Maybe things that we perceive as easy fixes aren't so easy. Maybe they are given a specific list of things to work on and don't get to touch on everything they want. Maybe certain aspect just become too time consuming and it takes away from other areas that need work. Or maybe they are actually lazy and do minimal work year after year. Who knows. I just don't think it's fair to judge from afar because we can pinpoint inaccuracies and label the mistakes made.

Lighting looks on point this year. Body sizes are what they are at this point. We know what we're getting, and 2K definitely hears the complaints.

No better time to be here than when they start releasing screenshots before the game comes out.

Is it me or does Kyrie look excited in that screenshot?

We are literally 1 month away from release and no gameplay yet? That's what I need to see but I will admit that the screens look nice

Lighting looks awesome. Bodies still pretty much look the same unfortunately. Kyrie and the blurry Schroder in the back look too big

Noticed that as well, which is crazy detail, but I think that's one of those things that kind of bites 2k on the behind. People notice that and wonder how 2k can get the lines and wrinkles in the hands, fingers, and knuckles but then have inaccurate bodies that are thicker than they should be.

Game still looks great it's just interesting to see the strides made in certain areas compared to the lack of improvements in other areas.
