    Sim vs Arcade

What if 2K had two separate lobbies for Sim players vs Arcade players.

Sim- team ball, limited spamming of moves, realistic NBA style games.

Arcade- more freelancing, playground play style.

That way cheesers can play with cheesers and sim players can play with and against sim players.

Yes, they either give the option to filter teams or filter by difficulty level/sim/arcade. MLB the show allows the difficulty filter. Works nicely

The problem is, you won't be able to stop someone who abuses exploits from joining a "Superstar/Sim" lobby.
Everyone, rightfully so, sees "simulation" as more of a challenge than "arcade." Not too many players will voluntarily choose an arcade lobby over a sim lobby other than beginners.

Most exploiters, regardless of the cheese, truly believe in their mind anyway, "Yo I play sim ball only". Many believe that cheese is only if they turbo dunk on everyone everyplay, or something of the like.

So I'm not sure how you police the choices without some immense grading system.

Sim/arcade biggest difference is in contact layups/dunks...now throughout '16 they've patched this so much that Sim settings play similar to arcade when the game was launched..I agree it probably wouldn't work.

I hear you and it would definitely come down to player discretion and I'm sure abusers would try and take over the Sim lobbies.

No it would work and we somewhat had that in NBA 2k11? In 2k11 they had different difficulty lobbies, so if I wanted to play on HOF against somebody I could.

No guarantee that just because the difficulty level is higher you wouldn't still get a total cheese head opponent.

Back in 2k13 (Last time I played online) I was part of a 'sim' league with strict rules......STILL had cheesers in it.

Same for lobbies, you'll never stop these fools creeping through the net. It's why I stopped playing online full stop.

It's sad that you have to do that, but you're right. I just gave up on online modes mostly after last year w/ 2K15. I'll only play online with a select few people and people I know in real life, cause I know they aren't cheaters.

It would work man y'all trippin. On hof u dnt or at least shouldn't make as many contested shots. We all know when most cheesers can't hit threes their DONE. They quit, start crying. They will not stay in a lobby where they cannot spam to buckets. It will work.

The only problem about the cheese is that 2k gives everyone a standing dunk rating who can dunk if they minimize all the standing attributes gamers would hate driving to the rim and getting contested layups instead of dunking but they would still try to cheese tho
