What does NBA 2K17's slogan, "This Is Not A Game" mean to you?

To me I interpret it as meaning even more fluid lifelike animations and graphics with a ridiculous amount of signature animations giving players a more unique personality, better more realistic story mode, better commentary, and a more pronounced presentation with possibly a TNT broadcast package.

I hope there will be a TNT broadcast package in 2K series for years. But I don't think they will add it to 2K17. If they added, they will definitely release some information except several screenshots till now.

I really doubt if we can get a new scoreboard tho.

To me I interpret it as meaning one is enthused by the instant gratification that McDonalds provides.

I'd hope that means this will be a very realtstic 2K. Da Czar's slogan could be used if they're going for a slogan to represent realism.

Which meant nothing to me. Seemed to be more about that MyPlayer story mode (which I haven't played 1 second of - in any 2K).


So my assumption was that this slogan is aimed at a market that has nothing to do with me.
