Best Buy has my plug complete with the dream team.

It comes out this Friday, er Thursday at 9pm my time.

It's only going to cost me 45 bucks with gamers club unlocked so im straight

Same here; it's not worth the chase for me at this point. I pre-ordered my copy at GameStop and they are having a pre-launch on Thursday with pick up at 9PM PST.

My copy should be here by noon today.

I will post in depth impressions regarding gameplay on higher levels against CPU. Big sim player so and I'll focus strictly on gameplay.

Impressions by tonight. Is it time for impressions thread yet since we have a few members with it?

You Are right on time; was at work... Yes I do.

Shout out to the member that assisted Me. He's the real deal. First impressions

DisclAimer: only played 20 minutes or so, probably on pro with the Olympic practice.

-Dribbling... If you had a grasp on 2K16 dribbling, imagine 2K16...unleashed without its limitations of breaking points or hitches. Had some wow moments already.

-Pull up game is back without adjusting sliders. It's actually apart of the offense

-AI has become smarter. Utilize more dribble moves, step backs, quicker to react to being open and I think we will see them shoot much more 3's in 12 minute higher sim difficulties. Offliners in for treat

-It is 2K16, minus a lot of its blemishes.

-I couldn't block Kyle Lowry on a breakout layup with Kyrie Irving. Yeahh...none of that bs

Need to really dig into game and start running some plays, checking freelance and play quickness to develop, post game, transition ect

Game just finished dowloading. I'll report back with better details after a few full games on Superstar/Sim

Looking forward to your impressions!! Please let us know how it feels breaking a defender down off the dribble.. Curious if they have improved the first step explosion out of a dribble drive to beat a defender. It's still quite wonky on the Prelude.

Edit: Let us know if they removed all of the artificial stickyness of CPU on-ball defenders. (Warping/Magnet/Bumping)

Played a quarter. Need more time to give more details but I'll be honest man, I probably won't do screenshots and all that.

I'll play against the CPU and give as much gameplay and verbalize some ratings but I'm not into the rest of the stuff.

I'll check on filter after game. Anything easy I'll do my best but I won't be checking kicks, posting screenshots or anything.

2K substition change on timeout screen was unnecessary. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

After two quarters,

Crowd seems the same, so far. Turned down commentary and crowd volume to 100 to get a good impression.

Defensive settings advancements that should completely cut out your man rotating with settings like, help and no rotation... No help, or auto.

Stay attached during pick and roll is another addition for the roll man. This gets me excited if it works in theory.

Weight back in post. Had Shaun Livingston on K. Love and it was effortless.

AI seems to come a long way. Had Steph on a break with Lebron sizing him up for a block after Steph stole the ball. Old 2K he'd run in and I'd snatch. Steph stopped mid drive and pulls a wide open step back.

Stickiness isn't there for CPU defenders but I never had a problem getting to the rack last year.

No filters on old school game.

The nets sound nice. sounds stupid coming out my mouth lol but it is different. Much better visually as well
