Pardon my ignorance, haven't followed 2K news at all this year, but saw a commercial during MNF last night that the game is already available? Then people in here say it's coming out on Fri. What's the deal? Thought release day was a week from today.

Release day for pre orders is the 15th. So we should be able to play the game tomorrow at midnight right ?

Has anyone's download on PS4 started already ?

Is it possible the commercial was referencing the downloadable NBA 2k17 Prequel?

Release day for pre-orders (Early Tip Off) is Friday, September 16th. So you'll be able to play Thursday at 9 p.m. Pacific / 12 a.m. Eastern. On Xbox the download is already available. I believe PS4 should be tonight at midnight

Haven't had a chance to record anymore but I did play the first half of the Cavs vs. Celtics.

My reason for playing this was to see if I can shut down IT just because of his height.

Well, 23 pts later, it is a definitive no. I had one of my boys over just watching as I played the CPU. He said the CPU players like a real life user and I tend to agree on Superstar. The advancement is stark.

There will be some hiccups and superman vision by the CPU rocketing a pass 3/4 of the court to a wide open center underneath the basket.

I'm Kyrie, and Horford comes over to give IT a screen. I ICE IT to prevent him to utilize the screen. He crosses me over, going the exact opposite way of the screen for a pull-up three.

Offline players are in for a treat.. The rest remains to be seen.

Mass subs seem to be out to the guy who asked (Tried a few games)

Haven't had a chance to really sit down and have an hour to myself to play back to back 12 minute games for end of highlight bug.

Some of the new commentary seems organic and well done, like Chris Webber. Others seem out of place with almost like a copy and paste job done (Doris Burke)

I can confirm after playing long enough that the crowd isn't really different. Audio junkies may appreciate the new net sounds but overall, expect a subtle difference or you are setting yourself up for failure.

Hall of Fame this year, by Da Czar's request, is actually tuned almost identically to Superstar but ACE is cranked up on both the offensive and defensive AI side so that's where the increased challenge comes from.

With the new firmware update, you can record up to 60 minutes. Also did you play the 12min qt. game, to see if you get end of game highlights?

It definitely said available now on that commercial. I just think I was a simple gaffe. Nothing more. It's obviously not available until the 16th/late on the 15th
