Re: NBA 2K17 Early Copy Thread
I haven't got used to the new pro stick yet. I've got so used to doing fadeaway shots left and right using the stick in the past 5 years that it's so difficult for me to accept the new stick.
In 2k17 if you pull the stick away from the basket for a fadeaway, you are not going to make the shot cuz the game could consider it as "off target". You always have to pull the stick straight down, i mean like absolutely straight down to get the aiming right. You can't be even 0.1 degree off or it will not be green. If you get the aiming green and also the timing meter green, you are making the shot 100% no matter what happens. I'm not sure about if I like the stick yet.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Early Copy Thread
@JasonLin watching the stream yesterday and seeing the Time Out Adjustments Screen, it looks confusing as hell. If you get the opportunity can you chime in on how to navigate those time out screens? And on the fly substitution did they add any feedback to it i.e. color/audio/vibration to let the end-user know his sub edit took place.Comment

I dont think they had time to implement a Kobe mode, he announced his retirement at the beginning of last season. You have to plan in advanced for something like that, you cant just stop your current development plan and implement a Kobe mode.Xbox Series X: KILLMUNGERComment

Re: NBA 2K17 Early Copy Thread
Same.. I was looking forward to a kobe legendary game mode, especially after 2k showing off the kobe vs jazz final game in their trailer.
however, it's not in the game, at least not on the disc.
I've been playing it for about 5 hours since i got it.
It's definitely more fluid and and more controllable than NBA 2K16. I like it, although the Lakers are still weak and relatively difficult to use. I tried some other teams like Cavs and GSW, they run much faster and more fluid than last year, so pretty to look at.
Also I was stunned by Jeremy Lin's hairComment
